Well done on your loss @Glad .👍🏻Let's hope the Body Magic from the weekend can offset the food.🤞🏼

I think lamb shoulder is my favourite cut @Coxy11. Like you, we rarely have lamb as it's so expensive. I could afford it but when I see the eye watering prices per kg I just can't bring myself to buy it. I need to be more organised and make sure I've got space in the freezer for when the bargains come up. Seems a shame @bubbs that you are well stocked but IIRC, your DH doesn't like lamb.🤔

That does sound like a huge resort @joedenise but at least with so many restaurants you should get a choice of food. I've been to Egypt a couple of times but never Sharm el Sheik. Hope you have a lovely time, especially as it's for a special occasion.

It's a lovely day here too and it's meant to last until Sunday at least. My plan is to do one load tonight (just changed the bedding ready) to go out in the morning and then another tomorrow for Friday.

I was very good last night as DH didn't fancy any Crunchie at the game so I didn't have any either. I think if I'd opened it I would have found it hard to just stop at half a bar.

I'm feeling better about my fat stomach today having seen the photos of Madonna.

Madonna offers reward for return of missing Coachella costume - BBC News

I've certainly got more of a waist and perhaps I need to add a big frill to some of my clothes.🤣

I'm having another day upping my water intake like I did on Monday. Unfortunately, I can't do it every day as it's not 'convenient' IYSWIM.😉

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- liver, bacon, onions (P,S), mash, LO gravy (F), veg (S)
    Swips- LTL mayo 1

    Evening all,

WFH today and combined with BIL doing our ensuite and asking technical man questions I can't answer(!) and also having Grand furbaby doggo here for a few days, I have not stopped.

    Food:

    B - nowt!

    L - picky plate - crabsticks, 2 Ryvita, 1 tbsp humous, ham, apple - fibre, 2, P, S

    D - FB Mo's lasagne, mixed crunchy salad - P, S, free, calcium

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - fibre one bar 3.5, skinny bar 3.5 plus 2 = 9 total

I really need to get a lawn spike for my whirly gig as have been drying clothes indoors for the last 18 months. I really miss line-dried laundry!

Morning all, lovely to see the sun again today and for a change hardly any breeze. No more washing planned for a day or two!!!

@Coxy11 - Lidl have got whirligig lines on offer this week with the Lidl Plus app - ends 25th so might be worth a trip to Sittingbourne to see if they've got any left. Sounds like you've had quite a hectic time lately!

Popping over to see DD1 this morning before going to Lidl for a bit of shopping on the way home.

    Today's plan:

    B - Veggie omelette - P; S
    L - chicken fajitas - Fibre; P; S; 3
    D - Lasagne, salad - Calcium; P; S; F

Calcium - milk; Seriously Strong cheddar light
    Fibre - SW wrap
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 3

    Have a good day everyone.

Glorious again here today @joedenise . You must have brought the weather home with you!😎

Bedding all out on the line baking nicely (brought in the few bits that need ironing earlier). I'll do a dark wash later and put that out in the morning then washing basket cleared.👍🏻

I definitely agree about line dried laundry @Coxy11 . I've got my old line at the bottom of the garden from when the builders were in and then a new one close to the house.

Do you use the Seriously Strong cheese to make the lasagne sauce (and if so how) @joedenise? DH loves lasagne but we haven't had it in a while. I've never used quark (often recommended in SW recipes) so not sure if we'd like that.

I bought some crisps when I was out earlier as a treat for us to take to London on Saturday. I put them away but within the hour DH was eating some! So much for him trying to lose weight. 🤣

It seems Wembley stadium has got very fussy about bags since we were last there two years ago. We had an email saying no bags larger than A4 and that larger half full bags can't be folded over to comply! That's even worse than those airline bag checking cages which, at least, allow you to squash bags in. Between us we'll fit in some snacks but probably eat out at lunchtime somewhere before we travel out to the stadium as kick off isn't until 5.15pm.

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium1), scrambled eggs (P)
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,F,S), Parmesan (calcium2)
Swips- had a couple of swips worth of 70% chocolate last night so may do that again. 🤔

@maman - I'm going to try making the sauce with the Seriously Strong Lighter cheddar. Will just add a little boiling water to loosen it and hope for the best!

I'm doing the PON one pot lasagne but of course it won't be one pot as I'm not using the yoghurt and egg for the sauce as that recipe does but other than that it will be the same. The lasagne sheets get softened in boiling water while you make the meat sauce and then cut into 4 pieces. I've not done the recipe before so no idea how it'll work out but will let you know tomorrow!

Thanks @joedenise .That's how I make the sauce for garlic mushrooms, usually adding some of the vegetable water from whichever greens I'm cooking at the same time. I never precook the lasagne sheets as I find they soften in the tomato sauce from the Bolognese. 🤞 it works for you.

    Hi all,

Thank you @joedenise I have a free day tomorrow so might venture out to Lidl - the glamour!!

I met a friend at Knole Park today. She has a puppy guide dog - she keeps them until they are 18 months then they go for training. He is adorable. We just had a coffee then I had a mooch in Sevenoaks High Street, so plenty of steps.

    Food today:

B - AF bacon, poached egg, WM bagel thin, tomatoes - P, fibre, S

    L - sushi, melon/mango/pineapple fingers (very late grab from Asda at 3.30pm!) - 2(?), S, free

D - I'm at yoga so will be late if I have it - DH is making SW sticky chicken with rice and tender stem broccoli - 1

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 1

I made FB Mo's lasagne last night with two tubs of that cheese. Just warmed it through in the MW and spread on the top. DH and adult kids say its the best lasagne apart from Delia's (which takes all day to make but it's yummy….)

I did an Olio pick up last night - 2 packs of 4 bagel thins and she also gave me a bag of potatoes and a bag of carrot batons. I'm going to make carrot and lentil soup tomorrow.

The cheese sauce worked quite well but would have been better if I'd used 2 tubs but only had one so made it do for 4 portions. There's 2 portions to go in the freezer. With using just one tub of the Seriously Strong plus 60g of grated cheddar on top it worked out as 4 Calcium choices so one Calcium choice per portion so I'm happy with that - at least I didn't need to Swip any of it! Will make a note on the frozen portions that they are 1 Calcium choice each.

Was in Lidl earlier @Coxy11 but didn't notice any of the whirligigs unfortunately but might still be worth trying as they might not have received them in time to put them out.

My BIL was at hospital today, thought they were going to tell him when his surgery is but no 😢 still none the wiser! Gave him betablockers and he has to go back Tuesday, i really don't know what they are used for.

I had the results from breast screening, not even been a week so that was good, all fine so that's even better 😁

Mum's now saying she has a really shaky hand and it's getting worse, she has hidden it well, it's her right hand too , I have told her she must make an appointment, first thing that came to my mind was parkisons, i really hope not 🙏 of course i never said this to her. Never noticed when we was out, taking her shopping Tuesday so will investigate.

    Food today

Picky plate, half fibre, half calcium

Tea, Half calcium , Mackerel in tomato sauce was lovely with salad
