what a lovely day 🌞 I've had a lovely walk/run with the dogs and girls around the quarry, sorted out my finances and popped for coffee with another friend.

I think I may have taken a step back with the weight, invited to a family do last night and the buffet was amazing, so I indulged, then the desserts came out and I indulged again 🙄

I might live on carrots and yoghurt for the rest of the week

Afternoon all, what a beautiful day again - very warm with very little breeze. Don't think the temperatures are going to be much higher when we go to Turkey!

The morning has just disappeared. Done the last shop before our holiday and again spent more than I wanted to - it's the same every time DH comes shopping with me! It was lollies this time and he was going to pick up a pack for me too but said don't bother I've still got one left in the freezer and that will do for this week.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - wrap with HM hummus, ham, avocado, salad - Fibre; Healthy fat; P; S; 3
    D - peri peri chicken, rice - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - wrap
    Fat - tahini 0.5; avocado 0.5;
Swips - half Tbs olive oil 3

Found the wrap surprisingly filling - thought I was going to be hungry after it.

    Have a good day everyone.

work day today and being as good as possible

B - overnight oats, 0% greek yoghurt and blueberries
L - homemade root vegetable soup, banana and apple
D - baked pot, baked beans and a side salad
IB - milk for hot drinks, tangerine

very warm in work, plus the heating is still on!!!

It's glorious here too @joedenise . I went out for a walk this morning and then sat in the sun for a coffee with friends. Beautiful!😎

I know exactly what you mean about taking your DH shopping with you. It's expensive enough without them slipping extra things into the trolley!

Obviously we all have different appetites @Glad but while your menu is excellent it wouldn't be enough food for me in a day. If it's fine for you then that's OK but I wouldn't want you to feel deprived and then start snacking. That's the glory of SW over many other 'diets' in that you can eat plenty provided it's the right, healthy foods.

Interesting article in my newspaper this morning about reaching a plateau when weight loss has been going well. One thing I definitely recognised was that sometimes you can do all the right things but not get a loss. It's something to do with our bodies fighting back when they recognise that we're making changes. The main thrust of the article was about some new pills which are currently available in the US but coming here soon. It's the same medication as in the jabs but the pills are intended for an extra push for the last stone or so when there's a plateau. The nutritionists were repeating that once you stop taking the pills (just like the jabs) that the weight will go back on. They recommended healthy eating instead, particularly things like oily fish and carbs with plenty of fibre and making sure you feel full enough to not turn to processed snacks. No surprises there!🤣

Hopefully today will be my first properly back on plan. My holiday in Brussels just sort of drifted into the Easter weekend. There's a very important (to us) match on the TV tonight but I'll do my best to resist any extra swips.🫰🏻

I changed my plan around a bit to use up the remainder of the Asda Easter broccoli tonight before it goes off. Tonight's planned pasta can wait until tomorrow.

    Today's plan-

B- HE fibre toast, HE calcium milk, bacon, eggs (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- LOs as yesterday (P,S,F)
D- savoury mince (P,S), mash (F), broccoli, cabbage, carrots (S)
    Swips- tbc🫰🏻

Not eating meat affects my choices sometimes, and today is a work day and OH is out this evening so just plumped for easy dinner 😊
The breakfast is usually a large portion of blueberries and yoghurt with 40g of oats, the soup was also 2 bowls full, one at 12 and one at 3.
I might change the baked pot for SW chips and add a couple of eggs too
