Welcome back @maman. Sorry I missed your post so just had to go back and read it! Glad you enjoyed Brussels. Glad your DD bought you some of the 4p veg. I only bought potatoes, onions, carrots and garlic this week but planning on getting some swede when I go shopping again assuming they've still got it!

I bought a leg of lamb which DH cut in half as a whole leg is far too much for just the 2 of us so 2 half legs are much more useful.

    Thanks Beanie

If the veg offers finish today then so be it. It's not the end of the world. I got the veg I mainly use for a great price so happy with that plus the half price leg of lamb.

    Happy Easter everyone.🐰🐥

Glad you got a loss yesterday @bubbs .👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You're always well within swips for the week so not surprised you lost and had the hot cross bun.😋

I think most places officially end today for the cheap veg @joedenise which is effectively yesterday as supermarkets are closed today.🤔Tesco might be doing it tomorrow but, as you said, the cheap lamb is a much more valuable offer than the veg!

We're having roast chicken today. To make it a bit more special, I'm doing pigs in blankets as well. Thanks to @Coxy11 posting the photo of the Aldi lean sausages (repackaged and renamed from skinny) I was able to pick up some 30% off packs on Friday.👍🏻

    Today's plan-
B- HE calcium milk, HE fibre porridge, blueberries (S), banana (F)
    L- Spanish omelette (P,S,F), salad (S)
D- roast chicken, pigs in blankets (P), roast potatoes and parsnips (F), other veg (S)
Swips- sausages (1.5), HM gravy (4), weekend wine☺️

Afternoon all, thought I posted this morning but obviously not! It's been lovely weather today although a bit breezy. Have done another load of washing and got it all dried on the line and now folded and put away.

We've sorted through clothes to make sure we have everything we need so if I don't get any more washing done this week it won't be a problem but obviously I'd love to go away with a virtually empty wash bin!

DD1 and her fiance (they finally got engaged a couple of weeks ago after 11 years together!) are coming over for dinner tonight.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F;
    L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
    D - roast gammon, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - soft pitta
    Swips - burger 0.5; hash brown 4

    Have a good day everyone.

hellooooo sorry I've been missing more than just a week in France, had a very busy week since we returned!

France was wonderful, had a mother and daughter ski day in glorious snow with glorious sun too, with lunch up a mountain, looking across the Alps. Also went to visit the apartment DD and her OH are buying which means I can be more part of the move etc even across the miles.

Food in France was a lot of bread and cheese but also some healthy fish and ramen choices and DD cooked at her place a few times too, I laid off the wine and beer and chose spritzers instead.

I have got back on plan the day after we returned and am so happy to say that weigh in yesterday showed a half a pound loss from the last weigh before I went, so happy with that.

Now to read back and catch up 😊

Pleased you had a good time in France @Glad and brilliant that you are now half lb less than before you went. You have done so well as no doubt you put on while you were away with all the bread and cheese!
