. Had to be focused, no expensive holiday abroad this year and setting aside for potential baby. Hopefully with a tracker mortgage I could use the savings to save a little more. KrsyW #55 with a final report for the year of £551.68 for December.
A big thanks to @Suffolk_lass and @enthusiasticsaver for running this challenge, and a big congratulations to everyone in this thread for saving.
I'm considering what to do for 2026 - due to a huge change in personal circumstances (a good one!) my priorities have shifted somewhat, and a bigger focus is on my pension as I target potentially retiring at 55. I may well come up with a target and reappear in 2026.Emergency Fund: £15,000/£15,000 Mortgage Overpayment Fund: £36,000/£72,000

My final update of the year… could you add £1128.36 to my total please?
It’s been an expensive year with vet bills, and a new washing machine needed etc. With that in mind, although I’ve not reached my initial goal, the total is better than it could be.Onward to a shiny new year!1
