Trading 212 Cash ISA - Impossible to transfer ISA out!

This is putting me off opening a cash ISA with Trading 212.
Not that I can anyway due to their requirement for photo ID.0 -
Maybe I've been unlucky but my experience since I opened the account 3 weeks ago has been dreadful. I transferred in an existing isa and opened a new one for this tax year but they've got them both set up as existing isas. Dealing with customer service, once you get past the bots, is pointless as they do not seem to read what you are saying.
With it starting so bad I'm not hopeful for the future so I just want to transfer out, but it would seem finding someone to transfer to is not simple. Just wish I had never signed up to them.Waddle you do eh?2 -
This also puts me off as I had shortlisted Zopa and Trading 212 and was leaning towards the latter due to them allowing partial transfers. In fairness I spoke to T212 live chat earlier and was through to a 'human' in around 5 minutes, they proceeded to send me a link to all of the banks they accept transfers in from and transfers out to and loads of banks (including all of the major ones and those with top rates) are listed. Are they still not able to solve your issue?
I am a little put off by their chat/e-mail only support model - but how good are the people at the end of the phone at Zopa for instance anyway? I got through to a chap at Zopa the other day and he couldn't even answer a basic ISA question.
Has anyone here actually had a good experience with T212 and their Cash ISA?0 -
I think there are many who have had a good experience with T212.
Me, personally, although I'm only using their S&S ISA. No problems with interfacing through an app. No problems with authenticator methods, no problem with taking a selfie.
Open banking payments in are a breeze. HSBC is my bank, they've never put the blocks on me.
It's so often the case that people dissatisfied make the most noise. As someone said previously in the thread, anyone having a problem transferring out should have a problem with the new provider, not T212.
Anyone not liking taking selfies or using modern and safe authentication methods is going to find themselves not liking a lot more things going forward.5 -
Another +1 from me. Simple to open my S&S ISA, and easy to pay cash in using the Open Banking route. Bought and sold a few times in the ISA wrapper.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. I would say the customer service hasn't been brilliant but not terrible.

The process did not go massively smoothly and I did have to keep on top of it/them. Often the staff initially responding in the chat gave very generic, non committal answers, but when I asked for it to be escalated it always got resolved very quickly.
Ultimately I've been satisfied with the experience. The product itself is very good, I like the app, I like the bonuses.1 -
Has anyone actually transferred a cash ISA out of T212 to another bank, and was the process relatively straight forward?

I found the list you mention, and I may be reading it incorrectly, but it looks (to me) as though the list relates to transfers in, rather than out?
