Evening all
Belated congrats to granny mothernerd. Happy days ahead.
Congratulations to all of us turtles for making it to Friday. Not going to lie - the week has gone by in a flash of stress and panic without a spare second to spare. Stressed kids at school, stressed teachers at school, parents evening, my own kids stressed at home, money stress and loads of the usual stuff I still need to do. But I'm happy to be here and I'm happy to report that I intend to be in bed and asleep very soon so that I can get on with another busy day ahead tomorrow - still running the house but also plenty of work on the other job to do as well. Work feels easier if I'm properly rested, and also if I can choose to stay in bed until it's light. Or work in my pyjamas even
Still on nsd 7 as tonight was grocery shopping night, and I went to the butchers after school yesterday so got the meat I needed there (I was picking up 60 hearts for school anyway). All planned spends but I confidently predict a no spend weekend. I can't spend what I haven't got can I?Not giving up

Busy week at work here - although I did manage to get out at 3pm twice - whoop! I have brought about pile of paperwork and my laptop home this weekend, though... sigh..
Thankful for getting some work jobs ticked off my to do list (replaced by other jobs, but it's still a win!), the NHS (2 of my household have made use of their sterling services this week), it being the weekend, a warm house.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £208 -
Hugs ICC, wishing you well for your future working life.
Not a good start to the day +
Took hubby to & from his dialysis & I'm now isolating in the bedroom. Couldn't think of things to be grateful for, but I've had some lovely messages of help, should we need them & after feeling hemmed in by all the piles of clutter in our room, I started by sorting through the shelf above our bed. Will do a bit each day, when I'm feeling up to it & by the end of next week, it should hopefully look & feel better!
Grateful for kind friends, funny messages & TV app on my phoneUse it up, wear it out

Today I am grateful for dc making it through the week, for not having to go out this evening, for not many people at the gym so I posed in front of the mirrors for one round of exercises 😎, for email that makes communication so easy, for making a stonkingly good salmon dinner.

Good evening 🌔
Thank goodness that week is over with. Am totally frazzled. Came home and watched two movies back to back in my PJs!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Nice chats with a colleague at work
2) My drive to and from work with the radio on
3) A home-cooked dinner and my sofa!
Today = NSD number 11
Will likely be a spend day tomorrow as need a few little bits. Looking forward to a few much deserved days off x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Evening all
I did not update yesterday as I wasn’t well but it was a NSD, which makes 8/16+
Today wasn’t a NSD as it was my turn to pay for the weekly takeaway and I bought some Diet Pepsi.
I got up this morning to my street having become a crime scene. A poor young girl was attacked last night. I really hope she is ok. The police are taking the matter really seriously, and my road is still cordoned off.
today, randomly, I am grateful for a colleague working abroad, which gave me a few extra hours to get something finished, for Greggs sausage rolls from the freezer and for paracetamol
a planned spend day for me tomorrow, so I won’t have another NSD UNTIL Sunday.
Due to work pressures, I only closed 2 of the 3 rings on my watch today, so will go for a walk tomorrow.Happy weekend all

Hi everyone,
Bit of a foggy and drab day today but when the sun did break through it was glorious. 4 top layers of clothes plus coat, scarf, hat gloves and long johns (sexy!) under my jeans I was just about warm enough. At least it didn't rain and it's staying lighter longer!
My friend in Germany finally got the tracked and signed for parcel I posted on 9th Dec. She had to fetch it from the post office and pay €8.80 for the pleasure. Not sure why but will find out tomorrow. Just hope the items aren't broken.
My weight has shot up eating leftover Christmas chocs and treats. They have nearly all gone now so I can try and lose the extra pounds. Finished the red cabbage off - think i'll leave the other pot in the freezer as I've gone off it a bit now. Walked 10K steps today so pleased with that.
Hoping to see my sister's side of the family for lunch on Sunday as they had covid for Christmas. Hope they self-test beforehand.
Gratitudes: walking although it was very cold, feeding the robins and squirrels, a bit of sunshine and blue sky.
Sleep tight x

Good morning I have opted for a lazy morning, no running, no getting up till now, got up to nsd day 6 yesterday, will try to do a grand shop today so I'm good through to next Saturday, at least in principle.
I am also about to complete a few 'hangovers' today so will report back later, so I will be ready to start new ideas soon. Or actually just catch up on house tweaks and ideas.
I am a bit stuck for how to fit in exercise and chores, and how to recover from being exhausted - mentally and physically, while going on going on, but I think completing things, resting, doing moderate exercise, then hopefully in time it will work. Really want to start reading again though, I just feel I need a new lamp! Getting old here.
Main plan today is to go to a local museum and look around w ds1 and tomorrow is a walk and cuppa with a friend, and an other fried have announced she might visit in spring, so very excited about that, have not really had visitors for years due to pandemic and really enjoy seeing my lovely friends.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

32b3 it took me a while to work out what you were talking about when you mentioned closing rings on your watch!Ditty, plodding on is good. I find that completing tasks is a good thing and boosts my mood a bit as things are no longer hanging over me.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9
