lcc - good luck for the future
Agree with you apple - ditty, keep going at your pace and hope you get to see you friend in the spring
Thrify - hugs, hope you are ok
Had a busy day at work yesterday but went for coffee with DD2 at lunch as she had an eye test. In the evening we went to DD1's for tea and played board games, was great fun
DDs have gone to see grandparents and i am meeting my sis and niece on their way to uni drop off. Looking forward to catching up on chores and might have a wander round the shops in my neverending search for a warm coat. Need to go to PO first to return coat #2 which isn't suitable.

Afternoon turtles. Another NSD here. Fell asleep on the sofa last night and also had a lie in this morning, must've needed it! My back is quite bad today, with a brand new type of pain, no idea what it is. Did plan to give my car a properly good clean as it's filthy but thought better of it. Got some stuff done inside the house instead and ticked loads off the list. Hopefully be back up and running a bit better tomorrow!7

I returned to the scene of the crime.... well, I went back to the recycling centre and got shot of all the outgrown clothes to the charity cage thing, and all the cardboard, and all the plastic, and all the books to the 'media' cage. Then went and wandered round 4 charity shops, but I had spent the morning doing housework, so I deserved it. My house is now much tidier.Going to go and fantasise I am a hobnob, and dunk myself in the bath for a bit. Nothing on tv except background noise. Will binge 80 Days at some point.Blimey it is COLD!!!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for an early morning waddle before my brain could wake up and stop me, for dc sleeping okay, for lush fruit salad, for finding some CrossFit championship stuff on tube and casting it to the telly but still being able to do the tap-and-fast-forward thing, for dh ironing dc's shirts.

Much of today has been spent at the ironing board.... after dinner it's off to DS3's room to tidy it with him - and check in the box of clothes from ds2 if any fit ds3 now. After then it's on the sofa in front of the tv
📺 before going to bed for more of the same tomorrow....
Super freezey outside today - haven't been anywhere nor do I plan to tomorrow:)

Evening turtles
Met sis and niece at a garden centre only to discover the cafe was shut for a refub! So we went to the nearest town and found a posh SM that had a cafe and i had a very tasty veg curry. Gave sis some birthday money for 2 of my nieces, had already put the cash in an envelope ages agoHad a wander then came home via t0sco. Went for a quick walk so managed 10k steps. Now making soup to take to DD2 when i return her to uni. Managed to return my parcel but no time for shopping or CS drop offs. Having a sandwich for tea and going to watch TV then retire to bed early
Gratitudes - lovely catch up with sis and niece; brushed cotton sheets; DDs having an adventure together

Took mum food shopping as hopefully we're seeing my sister, niece and toddler tomorrow properly for the first time since before Christmas and them having covid.
Bought a couple more items for the food bank so need to get them packed and round to the vicarage before Tuesday night.
Had a nice look round H*bbycraft but resisted buying more stuff. Mum bought a pattern and wool for a9 jumper for her grandson. She's a very good knitter. Also looked in 2 carpet stores for new rugs for her living room but nothing suitable.
Had veggy Kiev for tea and I'm sorry to say I don't think I'll have it again. Still trying veggy alternatives so guess I won't like all of them. (Mrs.Macca's sausages also a no no).
Ginger cat was very naughty in the night and got me up several times by scratching the carpet. I got up tired this morning and she went for a nice long sleep, little bee!
Undid the u-bend on the bathroom sink as it's not draining away properly. Not a nice job as it was full of hair, so fished out what I could, did it back up then put caustic soda down it. Seems better. Never done it before so hoping it won't leak!
OH waiting for a speeding fine from before Christmas. Hoping it won't arrive now after nearly a month.
Foxholes - Sounds like you had a very productive day with a nice bit of charity shop visiting after. Very therapeutic. It's like candy floss for the brain as it's great for zoning out.
Still on 3 NSD. 7K steps. Hoping to get to bed earlier tonight cat-less! X
