I struggle with cheese, halloumi, feta, cheddar, paneer, I like blue of any type, but still struggle to incorporate it, ideas welcome, cream cheese is good.

Do I need it or just want it.

    few ideas for you

double cream heated with cheese makes a lovely cheese sauce for broccoli, cauliflower etc.

cream cheese mixed with a little sweetener and peanut butter makes a nice cheesecake

chop leek, herbs, bacon and fill mushrooms then grate a little cheese on top and put under grill

cubes of cheese heated in microwave til they spread and look wafery,  when cool make good crisps

cheese mixed with grated courgette and an egg makes an acceptable pizza bass or spread thinly and cooked and  cut in to tortillas

i love cheese and just eat hunks of it from the fridge lol

When you know better you do better

    Mmmmm cheese 🧀

I use those Edam/Gouda slices as roll ups with good ham 😋

as @shykins said blue cheese (or any cheese) with double cream makes a great cheese sauce.

cream cheese, you could make cheesecakes, or get the herby one and stuff chicken breast and wrap in bacon

or just, what I have planned for the weekend, a whopping great big cheeseboard 😉

dinner tonight, is my go to standby meal of steak and asparagus, DH has a carb craving (he’s not LC or Keto, just eats what I serve) so he’s got a chicken pie from the butchers, with new potatoes and veg.

Date night tonight, normally some form of takeaway, if it’s Chinese (his favourite) I go for satay chicken and garlic and sesame broccoli - not clean, but a low’ish carb treat

All those cheese ideas sound delicious. Have not done the cheese crisps in a while! Must do some! Oh I also should do a pizza, I normally use grated cauliflower instead of courgette in above recipe.
I had let carbs sneak in so much such that I was forgetting how much fun low carb eating can be!
My feet are no longer swelling now by the end of my work day! Don’t need to elevate on pillows overnight anymore! I was really letting my health down!
I ordered the electrolytes tablets from Amazon and have been taking for past 2 or so days. I must say my muscles felt better and I could jog a bit better without feeling lethargic.
Weight is not shifting yet but I don’t mind for now as long general health and feelings of well-being are improving.
    Happy low carb day everyone!

Joining the party :) I've just finished a month of 900 cals a day to kickstart healthy eating again, thoroughly researched and 3 healthy meals a day, upping the cals now but want to keep the carbs low, I also mainly cook from scratch but don't always meal plan as I like to pick up yellow stickered deals

couple of ideas for cream and cheese, dirty fries but instead of fries use the sauce over roasted peppers, onions, broccoli etc, I add olives as well
omelet muffins with ricotta cheese (but any cheese works) I freeze these 2 at a time for fast breakfasts
