Back Sunday from my S.I.Laws, seem to be Friday through to Sunday evening routine developing, she lost her husband just over 2 1/2 years ago, and her daughter just over a year ago, she is 80 and has not coped during lockdowns, so I am now able to help more, she understands I don`t want carbs, she is a celiac, but I don`t think she understands totally yet, will have to think what subs I can take with me.
Yesterday I cooked a 1/4 shoulder of lamb with green beans and a portion of frozen mashed swede, I did have a low carb roll and a pork pattie earlier as I felt hollow, smoked salmon and salad today, after I shop for leaves.
My sister is visiting tomorrow, will defrost a gammon joint and serve with cauli and broccoli, she is strict low carb, see if I can find a celeriac.
Do I need it or just want it.

i used to keep a couple of Atkins bars/crackers at my mums in case i got caught there as apparently my diet was too awkward lol.    not ideal but better than nothing

you could make a cheese sauce for your broccoli/cauli.  i just do double cream and cheese yummy

very organised Jackie and a score with the fish, not something i eat much of as i dont really like it, wish i did!

big birthday this weekend and we are going away so no doubt a few treats will slip in but as i am maintaining i can live with that

There is nothing that nice in my fridge. Some wilting pak choi, a tired-looking cauli, an aubergine, some red chicory, a few wizened mushrooms and some spring onions. The garden is full of bolting salad and chard which I need to eat more of.

Very organised @juicyjackieb ! My husband doesn't do meal plans  or advanced prep. He wants to cook from what he has. Last night we had wild salmon, Monday we had quail and tonight it's moussaka. It does make ordering food more difficult.
