I opened a new reward account & then filled in the switch details. Had a text about the switch but nothing about the £100 for doing so. Does the system just automatically pick it up?

The switch text/message doesn't refer to the bonus.

2 guys I know were asked by halifax to come to a branch with ID, even though they have both opened plenty of accounts online (with other banks) without trouble. And another friend was told that the decision whether to accept the application will be emailed to him within 3 days. Anyone else had trouble?
That's not 'trouble', that's the application process. Sometimes banks are happy to sign you up remotely, sometimes they want you to appear in branch. It could be something as simple as their credit record checking system being down/unavailable at that moment. It could be that they formatted the address slightly weirdly. It could be something on the credit record or another DB that triggered a manual check. It could just be a random thing.

    Just looking for clarification...
The T and C's state - Only one offer per customer. Joint accounts eligible for one payment"
So if we (wife and I) jointly switch a joint account, and receive the incentive payment, can we also apply individually for the switch and get the incentive?
Apologies if this has been covered already  but it's a long thread!!

    Thanks

    You've answered your own question.
"Only one offer per customer, joint accounts eligible for one payment"
If you and your wife apply for and switch individual accounts you'll both get £100 each.
If you apply for and switch a joint account then you'll get £100 between you.

You are only able to get the offer once, so you can either both open soles and switch into these and get £100 each, or you open a joint where you will only get £100. You can't do both to get £300.

So switch gone through and incentive appear a couple of days later: I switched my Monzo account, does anyone know how long I’ll need to wait before attempting to open a new account with Monzo? I think it might be 12 months but might be getting mixed up with Starling, can’t seem to find anything on it.

The reward tracker seems a little behind. I've paid in the £1500...used debit card for premium bond purchase. So far is says I'm not in line for the £5....
Whereabouts is the reward tracker?  Thanks

You can downgrade online or in the app. Takes seconds.
Does anyone know if the “upgrade” option takes some time to appear after the switch goes through? I can only see an option to upgrade my normal account, and not the UR?

edit- I found it in “our products and services”

In the App, on the home screen, under My Extras > Reward Extras.
I'm not sure it's available in the online banking
