I noticed that some people were quoting a thread, and replying within that quote. Then I found I'd done it myself - I'd opened the quote I wanted to reply to in a new page, and found there was no way to reply outside the quote. 

Repeated the process by clicking on quote without opening a new page, and it was fine. 

So now I've got two posts, and I find I can't delete! Useful ...

Also discovered that it's possible to accidentally delete the white space beneath a quote, find yourself within the quote, and not be able to get out.

How do you jump to a certain page number, say I want page 53, I have to keep pressing the last number available on the screen and it takes ages to get to a page ??

If you click on any of the page number links, you get a Page Number URL in the address box.   The page number is the final entry in the URL, and you can put whatever page you want in its place.   When you press Enter, that page will be loaded.

                                                                                                                              ^ change this to the page you want

One glitch:
Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning has disappeared from its place in the Go to Category list.

Part of the problem is that MSE chose to override all of our individual settings for typeface and size with their own. If they stop doing that we'll all go back to our individual preferences. While I like their typeface and size choices but not their line spacing,it's not as good as using what I've told my browser to use.

I like the current colour palette with its identical blue and green parts. Remember that those who are unhappy are more likely to post.

Why is there no theme or style options to reduce the wasted space?

About a third of the horizontal is dead space. The right toolbar is annoying but at least the space is occupied with content. There is no sense in wasting the left side with such a wide indent of empty space.

On the vertical why is there so much padded space? The ratio between font size and padding is off significantly. Looks OK if browsing on a focussed mobile or tablet in portrait mode, in landscape it's mostly dead space rather than content.

1. There was an arrow on the left side of the post showed if you had commented on that thread, was very handy

2. The Postal/Phone/Text comps now all show New, but there is no Entered/Skipped button, Please return it

3. Some posters would add a Triangle emoji to she a comp was ending soon. Very handy Please return that

My notification bell has suddenly gone blank?  I used to get told xxx posted on xxx thread sort of thing but now there is no writing there at all?  Anyone else the same?

Is there a way to increase the size of the font?  I'd prefer for the writing to be a bit bigger

It would be nice to have the pages under the forum title again.

Also this wants fixing.
