Made it to mum's by taxi, waited for her food + delivery (toiletries, toilet rolls etc) and paacked most of it - one of each item left iin the kitchen/ bathroom and the rest in the back room.
Came home to wait for food here. Crawled slowly upstairs as I needed the bathroom and Beloved said not to try going back down, she and Ds3 would deal with the delivery. She brought my book and bag up for me and I've just requested and received cheese triangles and lemon yoghurt (I have apples).
Only plans are reading, eating and sleeping. Today I am grateful for getting the most essential tasks done, my bed, cheese triangles and yoghurt and Beloved and Ds3 for looking after me.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Evening everyone :coffee:
I made it to work today, which is a miracle in itself considering how rough I'm feeling. However, it's not yet 6pm and I'm already in my pjs and ready for my bed. However, I'm grateful that I got into work, and that my voice has returned a bit.
Also grateful that I'm one day down in a very busy week indeed. I had to leave work bang on time tonight to get to an appointment with my solicitor (in court again next week) and it just gets busier as the week goes on this week.
I need to find motivation to get on with some stuff at home but it is sadly lacking at the moment. Health first.
Congrats to your DH Thrifty! :jNot giving up

Let me be crystal clear, if you have faced a tragedy and someone tells you in any way, shape or form that your tragedy was meant to be, that it happened for a reason, that it will make you a better person or that taking responsibility for it will fix it, you have every right to remove them from your life.
Grief is brutally painful. Grief does not only occur when someone dies. When relationships fall apart, you grieve. When opportunities are shattered you grieve. When dreams die, you grieve. When illnesses wreck you, you grieve. So I'm going to repeat a few words I've uttered countless times; words so powerful that they tear the hubris off every jackass who participates in the debasing of the grieving: Some things cannot be fixed, they can only be carried.

Morning all.
NSD yesterday, posted two ebay parcels and changed an old pound coin that some cheeky beggar gave me in change at the weekend. Picked some apples and cooked them yesterday, one tub is in the fridge to go on my porridge this week and two others went in the freezer.
Cycled yesterday and this morning, will dog walk later and lots of cleaning to do too.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Good morning,
not a lot to report. Did my food inventory a day ahead, cross checked with my meal plan and did an Asda pick up order for Friday. Although I might change it and just print out the list and go to Aldi. Depends on our movements towards the end of the week/time/car availability.
Got my new energy supplier referral bonus and now waiting patiently for the refund of the credit I had with my old energy supplier. Just realised I changed from a French company (nuclear energy I think) to a British company based in London (all green). Might come in handy after Brexit. Only chose it after recommendation and being cheaper. Those two facts are a bonus though.
Off for a wee lunchtime walk in the sun
