Have a look at https://www.tiping.com for lots of help on getting rid of smells, stains etc.
a bowl or two of Bicarbinate of soda placed anywhere in rooms, fridge etc will take smells out of the air.
You can make your own "Oust" or "Neutradol" by putting 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of Bicarb and 1 tablespoon of Lemon juice in a spray diffuser and squirt everywhere. It's 100% non toxic (safe on beds, smelly dry dogs, rugs, curtains etc). Bicarb kills acid bacteria, Lemon kills Alcaline bacteria.A BEE STUNG MY BOTTOM... NOW MY BOTTOMS BIG :think:0 -
I use 1/2 of one of those bounce (anti stat) sheets and leave them on a radiator or behind a bin or anywhere else that might need a nice smell. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I'm so pleased with myself. I bought a load of Ambi Pur plug ins from Wilkinsons cheap and the other day the bottles of oil ran out. I bought a couple of replacement bottles for something stupid like £2 each ( I know, slap me with a fish- that's not money saving!) then realised I could just refill them. (I used avon room spray)
So I'm off on a hunt now for some more nice smelling cheap oil to refill the rest of them!! :j I think i'm finally getting the hang of this money saving lark!!!! :TMy mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0 -

Hello
I'm pretty new here and hoping to get into the O/S ways!
I currently buy those plug in things (airwick/glade) - which I know are expensive - to use and to buy! - and so I'm trying to think of an alternative.
Does anyone know if you can refill them using your own solution - maybe perfume oil and water?? (or would this be too dangerous??) - or is there an alternative that anyone can recommend?
Thanks for all your help.

I fill mine with Zoflora. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Don't know about the plug-in ones, but I just use a vaporiser which is fuelled by tealights. I get the oils from the market, ebay or M&S (has the most penetrating fragrance, IMHO).
The oils can even dispet stale cigarette smoke :eek:Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
I have refilled mine with refresher oil but they didnt work the same.
Might try the zoflora though, thanks mirakl.:D0 -
Thankyou!
I will try and look for zoflora....am giving it a go with some fragrance oil and water to see if it works in the meantime!0 -
