Burnt smell

Options
Hi
I'm hoping someone might be able to help with a little problem that has resulted from an over enthusiastic cook. and that is the smell of burning by setting out to cook something and forgetting about it :-[ the smell has got into everything and I was hoping that someone might be able to advise of something that could be used to take the yucky smell out????

thanks

soak a towel in water and vinegar solution wring it out and then whirl it around your head vigourously for a couple of minutes

place bowls of vinegar round the room and leave for a couple of days till all the smells have gone
if its in the curtains then spray with a solution of 2/3rds water and 1/3rd white vinegar

you can just wet the towel, vinegar helps a lot but a wet towel does the job
