Hi All I have had to think differently about my savings, but all in all this year I now proudly have £900 in my new private pension, 1600 in my housing isa (enough to release the gov payout, )should I ever get to use it, and 200 in my cash e fund. 2700 all together. I  am super excited about this and I think that once I get to £6000 I will start to buy out my debt. All this is after dropping £700 on a computer around Christmas and £2000 for citizenship2 years ago. So have had big payouts and still saving.
Keep at it, I am doing this on a part time salary and with 2 non dependent - dependent youngsters living at home(one at uni and one in a long term neuro rehab treatment).
Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
    Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%
Weight loose 8.6 kg - while having fun. 0/8.6 0%

That's amazing @triple_choc_chip about your mortgage fund and your EF being able to stretch for double the time 🤗.

Thanks 😊  It’s nine years since I repaid my debt and four years since I finished paying school fees.  I’m now able to save that money every month.  However, there is a legacy from the ‘horrid’ years in that I am five years from retirement with twelve years remaining on the mortgage.  So it’s all systems go to get that down as far as possible.

    I think I’m #34?  Penultimate deposit: £5800/£6000
    Debt Free 🍾 since 6.8.13 £31,997
    Saving for 🎄 🎁 2025 £460/£800 57%
    6 mth 🆘 fund £6k
    Mortgage offset fund £24.7k/£40.3k 61.3%
It turns out the answer to my problems wasn’t at the bottom of this tub of ice-cream, 🍨 but the important thing is that I tried...
