My usual, cheeky rounding down figures for the beginning of the month of £24.51.
    YTD - £2490.31
I'll be back as usual mid-month with more hopefully.

Thanks for all your hard work Julicorn. ;)

  • Hi Juliacorn,

#99 checking in with an October total of £177.88. It's been an expensive month with paying for our honeymoon, so most of our spare money went to that this month! November will also be a tight one for the same reasons, unless I get my HMRC refund in the next few weeks. But I have already hit my target for the year so am pretty happy with that, and won't be beating myself up about having a few quieter months in terms of OPs.

    Hello all,
No. 76 checking in with November's OP.
After a very exciting and unexpected windfall we've put £5550 into the mortgage this month.
Was tempted to put an extra fiver in to make it look pretty and have all the 5s but we didn't.
We've now reached our target for the year, but as it's so near the end I'll leave the target at that as it's so nice to see it as "Target reached."

Well done all and keep going. I've loved keeping track so far as it helps see what can be done.
If our car doesnt make it through it's MOT next month we are likely to need to buy one, which we'd hoped to put off until another year or to but it's not looking good. But this has made me see ho well we can save so we'll just need to divert the funds into a car.
  • Evening all

#49 monthly O/P made early this month for £720.

Getting so close to reaching the target for the year, I'm so pleased.

We're also seeing the balance start to come down more quickly each month and less interest going to the bank!

    Happy overpaying all

Great post weenemo - it is so motivating, seeing everyone saving - even the emergencies can be covered when they come up. Well done
