#8 with £2010.36 for November. Total for the year is now £40,489.64 - next mini-milestone is getting under the £15k mark in December. Pretty happy with that, as started the year at over £62k.

Then the final push! 7 months to go :)

#106 here with a November update of £1,500.

This week we have been finalising designs, subject to LBC approval, for some fairly substantial house renovation and maintenance works - exciting stuff but balking at the costs and potential disruption! This will clearly put a dent in the early repayment strategy but have figured that it will be worth it in the long run.

    Thanks,

    November total: £1,500
    2019 total: £27,338 / £28,000
  • Howdy all,

    No.54 with November's overpayment of £1600.

Hi, no 70 reporting an OP of £270 for November. I have now reached my target for the year, I will probably OP again in December but am going to leave my target as it is so I can be a little more flexible. Thanks julicorn

  • Evening all, not read this thread very often since I managed to ditch the mortgage in April but thrilled to see how many people have now reached their target! Amazing :T and for those who haven’t yet hit targets keep going, every OP no matter how small you think it is makes a difference xx
  • #107 checking in with first overpayment of November.
£10 after tidying up my accounts.
After a great start to my overpayment journey it's now looking like I'll struggle to overpay by as much as I wanted by the end of the year. We are in desperate need of a second car so all funds are being put aside for that at the moment instead. :( I still plan on chipping away, tidying my accounts up each week though.

Been slacking when logging details for the spreadsheet.

July, August, September and October I have overpaid £508 each month.

Thanks again for tracking all this.

    Mortgage 2: £270,000😱 Jan 2019 £253,000 April 2020
  • Hello

#93 checking in with overpayments of £213.49 for September and £213.49 for October.

It's looking unlikely that I'll meet my target of £4000 this year but I will keep trying and see how close I can get.

    Thanks, Moreteaplease

  • I’m so sorry I seem to have fallen behind in my reporting. RL got in the way.

    August - 348.53
    September - 396.54
    October - 344.85

Hopefully this gets me back on track. Thank you! Having this accountability has definitely kept me on the case.
