I'm surprised I haven't seen this offer mentioned on MSE.
£7.50 per month for the 3GB contract, normally only available to existing customers.
Mine only arrived yesterday so I'm not in much of a position to comment on whether it's any good.0 -

Of course you can, you just need to reroute your email via 3g's servers so you can send recieve it. Ring 3g's tech supprt, but gd luck as they and their customer support are useless (unless by some twisted chance of fate you get throught o the scottish call centre) and the reason i'll never buy anything from them again. Just wait till you try ending your contract, nightmare!!
but in ans to your question what you need to know what account type it is (POP3 etc.), the incoming mail server address (3g - so you can recieve mail), and the outgoing mail server address (3g - so you can send mail).
But in all honesty no matter how cheap they are i'll never never never use 3g again, spent 6 months out of a 12 month contract with a non working phone, theri customer service either promise to sort stuff out or don't - or just put you on hold and hang up. They charge you for non service and never pay the money back, even after writing, and never cancel a contract, furthermore they tried to send baliffs around for non payment of an itemised billon a pay as you go phone which was never used, with a bill totallyong £0.00. Goodluck!0 -
This is in the grabbit forum, I've just ordered one myself and thought I'd put a link here for anyone else looking for cheap mobile broadband. It's 5GB per month, 18 month contract. The usual price is £15 per month. This is an exclusive offer for Quidco customers plus £12.50 cashback.

Although touted as 'for new or existing customers', if you're an existing 3 broadband wireless customer you'll end up having to pay TWICE; for your existing and New contract! to quote
"[Steven] so just to be clear, I can sign up for the 5g 3 wireless mobile deal as an existing customer, and it will replace the contract I am currently on (2 gig 3 boradband wireless)?
[Mathew] No, it will not. This is a new one altongether.
[Mathew] altogether.
[Steven] so what's the 'for new or existing customers' thing? why would I want two wireless broadband deals?
[Mathew] This will be a different contract, and you will receive separate bills for this.
[Steven] doesn't make sense. that's like having two mobile phone numbers with the same company"
Details of customer service chat below;
[Steven] [Steven] I'm looking at the deal offered via Quidco on broadband mobile
[Steven] it says it available for new and existing customers
[Steven] and available until 31st August but when I rang 3 about it I was told 'i think that offer is expired' and 'you would have to keep your existing contract for 3 mobile broadband' which kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think?
[Mathew] Hello Steven
[Steven] hi
[Mathew] it could be a third party deal and we do not deal with them.
[Steven] I'm reading from 3's website
[Steven] "This offer is available until 31st August 2008"
[Steven] the Quidco site says "Get the most of Mobile Broadband. Get 50% off on Broadband 5GB (now £7.50 per month).
The offer is valid for the new and existing customers.
No wires, no hassles. Mobile Internet access at broadband speeds. Maximum speeds of up to 2.8Mbps on 3's new Turbo network in the UK Compatible with Windows 2000, XP & Vista operating systems and MacOS*"
[Steven] I am an existing customer
[Steven] we were cut off...
[Mathew] Hello Steven
[Steven] hi again
[Mathew] sorry, lost you all of a sudden.
[Steven] s'ok
[Mathew] we do not have that running with us.
[Steven] it says "7.50 per month" on the 3 web site!
[Mathew] can you provide me with the link where you are reading from?
[Steven] http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary.aspx?LID=367077x23625584&offercode=18M5ECD005
[Steven] here is the quidco page; http://www.quidco.com/3-mobile-broadband-5gb-promotion/
[Mathew] Alright. You can go for this. You will have to enter your existing contract details, in the Basket Page while ordering.
[Mathew] But the best part is, If you order a mobile broadband modem today, I can give you a promotional code for a free accessories voucher worth £10
[Mathew] Sorry, for the wrong response. Ignore the sentence before last. sorry
[Mathew] So would you like to take down the code as well?
[Steven] yes please. ok, i'm using 3 wireless right now.
[Steven] i rang customer care to confirm this would supercede my existing contract but they knew nothing about it either
[Mathew] The promotional code for the £10 accessory voucher is MB01080813
[Mathew] The promotional code will earn you a FREE Accessory Voucher worth £10. You will receive this with the package. It will have a serial number in it (Voucher). You can then login to the website and shop anything worth £10 or get a discount of £10 (while shopping any accessory above £10) from the following link http://www.threeaccessories.co.uk/choose_phone.php You will have to purchase the accessory when you receive the voucher. For now, you will have to enter the code I provided you with and update it, so that you will receive the voucher with the phone that you receive.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
[Mathew] Now that I have given you the promotional code for the FREE Accessories Voucher, I want to advise you how it works. You must enter the code on the promotional box in the Basket Page and press 'update' and then will need to select 'Buy Now'.It is essential that you press 'Update' before you select 'Buy Now'
[Steven] OK thanks.
[Steven] so just to be clear, I can sign up for the 5g 3 wireless mobile deal as an existing customer, and it will replace the contract I am currently on (2 gig 3 boradband wireless)?
[Mathew] No, it will not. This is a new one altongether.
[Mathew] altogether.
[Steven] so what's the 'for new or existing customers' thing? why would I want two wireless broadband deals?
[Mathew] This will be a different contract, and you will receive separate bills for this.
[Steven] doesn't make sense. that's like having two mobile phone numbers with the same company0 -
Can anyone help?
I took out mobile broadband with 3 from the carphone warehouse on Wednesday 30/7. The plan I have is 1GB for £10 a mth. However I checked my moneysaving email last night and notice that 3 are offering 5GB mobile broadband for £7.50 a mth through the Quidco site for new and existing customers. When I phoned 3 up to see if I could change over to this plan they said that I didn't count as either a new or an existing customer????
Any ideas how I would go about changing onto this plan, as I don't seem to be getting much service from their "customer services" dept?0 -

Hi,
I am moving to the Withdean (A23) main road area next week and am tempted by the £7.50 deal on Quidco for 3 mobile broadband.
Are there any forum members in this area who can tell me what the signal and speed are like? The 3 site says that this area on the London Road is a very good reception area, hwoever i have read mixed reviews about the speed of the dongle. Any views much appreciated before i sign up for 18 months.0
