That sounds great except on the Three website it says this contract is £15 per month.

Apologies OP, it's a separate link listed down the right hand side of Quidco's page. Seems to be an exclusive. Thanks very much, will order one.
  • I've had it for about 4 months and i use it a few days a week on the commute to work - really good value for money - good speed, and changes the way you work

Quick heads up, I've got it and while the broadband works fine it does not seem to play nice with Windows Vista. Lots of blue screens of death and Host Process Shutting Down in the last month since installing.

These deals are excellent, they work out cheaper than landline broadband! Lots of people would do better switching to this deal with a 5gig download limit it wouldnt be a problem for a lot of folks, just stick it in your desktop computer at home......£7.50 month....Bargain:T

That's what we're doing. We're getting rid of TalkTalk and going back to BT for line rental but we will have to wait a while before we can register for Broadband with Sky. This will tide us over and if we get a laptop it will be useful.

Just need to find a good deal on a laptop now. :D

Can anyone with Three - mobile broadband help. I know that Three (for their voice calls partner with Orange), so when you go out of the Three coverage area it defaults to Orange for voice calls - but what happens with the Three data service modem? Does it just stop working or default to GPRS speed on Orange?

Any "real" advice or thoughts would be appreciated?, as Three's shops give conflicting versions of what happens - thanks!

3 used to data-roam onto Orange until June this year with the modems, but i'm afraid they no longer do. Therefore, you will only get data coverage when you are in a 3 area. Thankfully 3 have by far the best 3g coverage of any network - but unfortunately that's all they have with the modem now.

Bottom line - if your modem flashes blue, you can connect to 3G or
    HSDPA (turbo). If it's flashing green - then it's a no-go as you're in a 2G only area.

Hope that helps. Still well worth getting for £7.50 a month.

I have use 3 broadband on pay as you go for my main internet.

I don't know if it switches to Orange but the coverage sometimes changes from 3G to HSDPA and it doesn't seem to affect the service. I've not had any problems with it and I've been using it for a few months now.
