Spoke to billing who told me to call web shop helpline who I spoke to who told me I need to speak to billing - who she transferred me to - who then almost immediately gave me the number for the web shop helpline. I pointed out they had just put me through to her. After her then saying the offer was only for 15gb broadband (load of rubbish obviously) I mentioned I had Martin's e-mail with the details of the offer in it.
She then told me to fax it over to her. I don't have a fax. She was insistent that I fax it. I said I couldn't and she eventually gave me an address to send it to.
I then hung up and tried to rephone the Web Sales team again. It took a while to be able to as billing hadn't hung up their phone and was insisting that I needed to! *grrrr*
Eventually got through to Web Sales again and started with "I've spoken to about 5 people about this and I'm now getting fed up". Explained the situation and neither her nor her colleagues had heard of Quidco so I had to explain that too.
She is now going to speak to her manager and call me back either today or tomorrow morning.
I will update when she calls back
I hope any of you that get billed incorrectly appreciate what I am going through for all of you
Hi there,
This is what has happened to me as well!!
After 2 30min phone calls, they have asked me to fax the order confirmation email which says £7.50 a month on it! I've got to wait for them to get back to me now!!!
Have you heard from them snggles?

Just an update re quidco - just got this
Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. Could you please supply us with the Web Order Number. This is a 9 digit number which begins with '237' or '238' and is found on the confirmation page at the end of your purchase. 3 Mobile will not investigate any enquiries which do not include this number. Kind regards, Quidco
I can't find any number like that, I can only assume that it appeared on the final page after checkout etc but I tend to just keep that open till the email appears in my inbox and then close it rather than printing it. Anyone else run into this?0 -
We've had the same problem.
Took the half price deal at £7.50 but have received the first bill for £15
We spent a couple of hours getting passed around. Again they were insistant on us faxing them the confirmation email. We don't have a fax, they said go to a fax shop, we said there aren't any 'fax shops' around here!! They refused to accept an email!
One person told us the deal was only for existing customers (which is nonsense). We spoke to someone else who couldn't help without a fax again. We asked to speak to his supervisor, he put us on hold for 1 minute then said his supervisor is on a break. He said they would call back but never did.
We finally got thru to someone else who simply said, "oh yes, you've been put on the wrong tarif, I'll get it sorted but it will take 2 weeks". Unfortunately this will be after the first direct debit. We will see.
Anyone had any luck with getting them to change to the right tarif yet?...anyone been charged the correct amount?!
PS. The actual broadband is excellent - not super speeds but great for getting online where-ever (well as long as I only get charged £7.50 for it!!)

Don't worry, easily sorted. Phone Three (free phone) 0800 3589571 and they will direct you and give you the required ref. No. (9 digit No. starting either 237 or 238)
If you have a Three phone, ring them on 333.
Good luck, my hubby has just put in a claim for this.

Just a note to say thanks to Lynsey for this, eventually it worked. When I first rang the above number I was passed from pillar to post and told to ring 4 separate numbers and it was getting very frustrating. So i left it a day and then rang the above number and asked again. This time the person put me through and told me to select option 4, I was then passed straight to someone who knew exactly what I needed.
So try and try again it seems
Best of luck

Did you order when on Quidco this offer was separate from the usual box of discounts? Because there's still a '50% off 18 month Broadband Plus' on the Quidco site and I was wandering whether to go through with it or not.
Thanks.0 -

Many thanks Lynsey this worked perfectly. I have to say I was impressed by three's customer services, okay you get passed about a bit but they were all helpful and well informed about their specific area. And I got my quidco updated
Does anyone have any tips on keeping an eye on your bb usage while abroad btw? Or indeed on how to know if you are in a '3' coverage area? Where we stay the provider seems to change from hour to hour...I'm just worried about extortionate costs that we don't know about till we get the bill...0 -

Don't know if you got this sorted but what we do is make the main browsing window a bit smaller so that there is some room at the bottom of the screen. Then all you do is position the 3 window so you can always see which network you are on in the small band across the bottom of the screen. HTH0 -
