  • Does anyone who has 3mobile BB know if the 3g signal is more robust than the 2g signal? I get a pants voice signal where I am, but the coverage map shows full throttle!

Just an update re quidco - just got this

Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. Could you please supply us with the Web Order Number. This is a 9 digit number which begins with '237' or '238' and is found on the confirmation page at the end of your purchase. 3 Mobile will not investigate any enquiries which do not include this number. Kind regards, Quidco

I can't find any number like that, I can only assume that it appeared on the final page after checkout etc but I tend to just keep that open till the email appears in my inbox and then close it rather than printing it. Anyone else run into this?

Yep, I have exactly the same problem. Quidco say I need this number to claim cashback but 3 are hopeless and can't give me this alleged reference.
  • Took advantage of the Quidco offer in July for the £7.50 deal open to new customers.
Billed for £15 per month, two letters later and an exasperating call tonight and it seems that 3 insist that the offer was only ever open for existing customers.
Stressed out over this and will have to pass the problem on to 'ComputerActive' to try and resolve. Otherwise it would seem logical to cancel the direct debit and take the consequences even if it damages my credit score.
Conclusion, don't deal with 3 they are a shafting bunch of busturds.

Direct Debit to be cancelled - can't be bothered with them any longer. They don't listen or they don't want to hear. Anyway when they contact me the roles will be reversed and I shall just keep hanging up on them!!
  • Took advantage of the offer via Quidco. Decided this be the better option than paying extortionate rates at hotels etc.

Speed akin to dial up although this is dependant on location but generally access OK.

Unfortunately cashback not tracked so enquiry raised...still pending. No Quidco reference number (237/238) notice throughout the transaction.

And yep am charged £7.50 per month:D
  • Have you got a link to the quidoc offer?

    I could not find this
  • Amazing how effective cancelling your direct debit is.
Suddenly I find that I qualify for the rate I was emailed originally by 3 for, yes £7.50.
These indian call centres have to employ 'good story-tellers'

this was really frustrating, eventually I used saynoto0870 to get a normal number for them, after speaking to a completely useless telesales team who refused to help me unless I wanted to buy something, I tried another number on sayno and gota nice young lady who gave me it straight away - apparently it was on the screen before you press the button to confirm you wish to purchase - why the hell would they do that? and why would anyone think to note it down? I assume everyone else thought like I did that your confirmed order number in all their correspondance was the one they wanted?

anyway apparently my enquiry is again on its way back to 3!

  • it really is as good a deal as it sounds!
  • There's also a 15GB download limit deal, half price for £15 a month. I just signed up for it and used promo code MB20120720 to get a free £10 accessory voucher too.
