Evening everyone - and Speky - congrats on getting that debt chopped in half.
Sorry I've not checked in for a couple of days. Work is really helping me to rack up the nsd's here there and everywhere :j
DD is still settling in at big school and I'm still settling in with some hard work classes. Not getting much done around the house but never mind...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Have done most of one side of the garden and filled the green bin. Would have, done more but it was grey and wet, currently thundering, pouring with rain and lights keep flickering (in Manchester the lights have gone and they have stopped the trams).
Washing of bedding continued and tackled most of a mountain of washing up - DS3 had several curry plates which he had kept in his room and they have been rinsed and soaked but need more scrubbing. Bad dream the other night but it is spurring me on to tidy everywhere. Still not doing as much as I want to, but making progress.
Today I am grateful for free food (found one portion of lovely chilli in the freezer), for getting two quilts dry before the rain came and for interesting free entertainment. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

spekysquarehead well done on chopping that debt in half. Only 900 to go. The end is in sight
Got on much better with the kids tonight. Not sure if it was just a better day or if my different more positive rather than shouty appraoch helped. I think the latter.
Off to bed soon, while hubby watches football, for some me time with a good book.

Morning everyone,
A quick catch up as I haven’t posted for a few days. No further NSDs sadly, I’ve been picking up a few things each day I haven’t budgeted for. I walked to the library on Monday and notched up 2.94 miles. I sorted through some more of the little one’s clothes and have put aside some that are too small for him to give away. I’ve started a new book, ‘Hide and Seek’ by M.J. Arlidge. It’s not a library one, I’m reading it on my kindle, but I’ve read the others in the series and wanted to read this too as it continues on from the previous one. Oh, and I squeezed in an hour of t.v. watching yesterday (last episode of Rookie Cops on STV player)VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -
G'morning everyone,
Should manage my NSD today as I've brought my lunch with me. Need to get back on the wagon.
I'll get back into the routine of checking in each day again.

Morning Everyone
13 September
Spent some money today stacking up on essentials (toilet rolls, etc) so that I know my son has all he needs whilst we're on holiday.
Salmon for tea from freezer. Had baguette at luchtime with chicken leftover from last night's dinner (still loads left – amazing what you can get from a 1.5Kg chicken). Making stock so may deviate from menu plan again later in week.
Was supposed to be a hospital day today but C's sister sent a message to say she didn't need a visit. I guess one of her friends who lives a bit further away is in town and is visiting instead or it could be that she's just too tired. So just a walk to the shops and library.
I addressed a few envelopes for Christmas cards (I really hate writing cards)
Got another Stuart McBride from the library. Have to finish it and return before I go away. I really enjoyed the other two. Detective stories set in NE Scotland with a lot of humour.
Bought another little thing for my food donation. Really need to sort that all into a bag.
Speky - well done on your bonus.
Raphael - hope things get better
Have a good day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
