Yesterday was nsd number 4. Not sure if I could make it to my slim target of 10 this month but boy am I going to try? Hoping today would be another nsd. Fingers crossed.
Managed to do a bit of clearing and emptying yesterday. Cleaned the porch and the shoe cupboards and did the window sills and furniture store a bit of dusting. Didn't manage to empty the ironing basket due to 2 birthday parties this weekend, but I'm going to attempt to do that this evening after work.
The 2 birthday parties were excellent opportunities to meet up with friends I haven't seen for ages apart from social media, they were all a bit shocked to see how much ds2 has grown, proof of how long we've not met up,
Not a library book I'm afraid but I've started reading a book recommended by DS2's form tutor. It's called Blame my Brain by Nicola Morgan.

Morning
11th September
Had to buy fruit, veg and bread. Got some cheap prawns, diced beef and a free range chicken. Deviating from meal plan to have that tomorrow.
Went for a LONG walk.
Have ordered two more Christmas presents for the wee ones a few doors down. Apart from gift vouchers for the “techie” boys in the family, sweets and some small things for C I think that's everything. Going on holiday on 24th September so I think I'll leave the rest until I get back.
Shower, bed with book and tea.
Congratulations on your engagement, Lauralozzle

Empty – Wardrobe is clear, but I might have a sort thru under the sink today
Meet – BF bought a shirt yesterday for the family wedding this weekend. He's not happy, he's not a suit & tie guy.
Bed – BF has been informed he needs to pick in the tomatoes before they all get eaten by the crawlies.
Exercise – I'll be heading out for a run tomorrow, we have a couple of races coming up in October so need to get back on track.
Reading – I've almost finished my book so I have downloaded 'The Martian' which I haven't read yet, but I've heard it's good.

Oh you have been busy posting again. Will just quickly check in and catch up later.
Did a small Friday shop and a LIDL shop yesterday. I am glad that I started writing down our spends in subcategories again, like food, household, clothes etc. Food is actually not that bad even including drinks. Also had two kids birthdays and bought presents for them. OH thinks we need to start buying bigger presents as ours look a bit measly on the gift table. On what planet is he? We bought a £8 Lego box (which comes in a small box) for a boy from DS class that we don't even know yet, how is that any less than a massive box of god knows what that might have been even cheaper.
Anyway, will soon have an unexpected spend of £250 insurance excess . DH clipped someone else's car in a car park (so much for women can't park :rotfl:). Will just mean the garden has to wait now to next year I guess.
EDIT Just found out it will actually cost us less than 100 quid now. We managed to take the car down to our mechanic that said to take our car off the claim as it'll cost us less than £100 to fix. That way the insurance will pay the third party claim and we just pay our own repair. Phew...
Managed a wee while out in the garden this weekend. All my cabbages (pointy ones) got eaten by caterpillars. Cheeky wee thinks even made little cave in them to live in. Does anyone know what helps there? Netting so that the butterflies/moths can't even lay their eggs?

Lauralozzle congratulations to you both.
Well had a hectic weekend.
Saturday Took grandson to NT property so much fun, lots of adventure playgrounds, took picnic so no spends but gave a donation in bookshop and he got a couple of books.
Sunday Bf came down and it was my turn(groan) to pay for lunch out. We don't eat out every weekend so its so much nicer when you do. He did try to pay but sure I have had lot of free meals off him recently so hey ho bit the bullet and opened my purse.;)
Today oops - run out of foundation this am and as Superdrug had 2 for 10 pounds Rinmel offer on, got that and eyeliner as my had dried up. Seeing I was spending popped into Holland and Barrett and found some nice face cream buy 1 get 1 half pricefrom Dr Organic range. Having a treat away from Aldi/Lidl ones for a change. No spending all week well except for a drink in theatre Weds.:o
No tidying/ clearing done had gs for 13hrs on Sat how tired was I? So many questions. Sunday spent with bf so lazy day.
Will plan my attack on my garage and kitchen drawer tonight, slightly hungover so tomorrow will action day:D
Have a good day folks xLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Good afternoon everyone,
Back my holidays unfortunately and so back to the grind. I hate to break the rules, however can I officially start my NST challenge from today which means I have 19 days of the month left. Can I go for an ambition 14 NSD's? I've already failed for today as I started my new job today and the on site cafe just looked too good!0 -
Spends Had a serious blow out weekend, and was determined to achieve a NSD day today but had to buy milk. Just checked and have achieved 3 NSDs so far. Must do better.
Eating Still managed to get my 5 a day each day, though some days are better than others. A lot of the weekend spending was on food, so I have eat well/badly depending on how you look at it. Have lost another pound though.
Presents Bought the bags for the Nieces and Nephews presents, so they are all complete. Bought Dad's booze (from OH) and Gin for Brother and Vodka for Best Friend all on the Mr T's '2 for 20 quid' plus used '3 quid off 20 quid spend vouchers on the purchases.
Time Time is going to be a lot more sacred now, because I have a (Temporary) job. Will make the best of the time I do have spare.
Empty Having done any proper clearing out, but we are painting the living room walls still, plus I am going through my hoard of tea after banning myself from coffee until all the tea is gone.
Meet Am working with OH so am meeting his work colleagues, no further plans arranged.
Bed Will take the duvets to be deep cleaned very soon.
Exercise Did the Cardiff 10k race yesterday. It was lovely. very warm weather which made it a bit tough, but so enjoyable. Shaved 6 minutes off my last 10k time.
Reading Don't judge me but I am reading the WWE Wrestler Mick Foley's autobiography and it is really, really good.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Hi everyone.
Congrats to Lauralozzle.
Having a lovely time. Lots of swimming being done with dgd and lots of drinking with two dd`s it's just nice to wake up knowing it's going to be sunny and hot.
No nsd`s but lots of exercise so I suppose that's something, anyway I'm using the taverns free WiFi whilst having a catch with some people we met last time we were here (they live here) so I'd better go.

Spends day 6/14 yesterday, as happened upon a sports and fitness festival whilst out walking the dog, and not only did I not spend, I picked up freebies in the form of bottles of coconut water, seed snacks and various other tasty treats. Dog snaffled up quite a bit off the grass too, and we enjoyed the sunshine and spectator events!
Eats - more meal planning but quite a few premium supermarket shops rather than budget - plus bought a mealdeal today for lunch rather than taking own but it was super healthy (green smoothie/bean salad/naked nut bar). Must try harder...
Empty - cleaned and sorted the final kitchen food shelf whilst cooking tea tonight. Need to try and pick up some more cheap kilner jars to store baking bits in a better fashion - lots of half empty paper packets of flour/sugar at the min.
Time - just had 10 with a face mask (free from Lush with 5 recycled pots returned) but I'm with the others on wishing I had a bath to relax in!
Also finished my book. The Subtle Knife next...
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and the Monday blues aren't too fierce...0
