Was paying £32 for the below package and after a lot of negotiating only managed to get them down to £42 for renewal so decided t cancel.
After todays discussion I accepted £40. Stood firm on not paying the admin fee which was eventually reduced to £10 and then finally got the £10 credited back.
Happy with final price, think if I had broadband I`d have more bargaining power.
What link did you use to get to the live chat please??
seems to be many different live chat departments!1 -
I used this -

Any other online chats that deal with retentions ??
Got 10 days left till i'm cut off!!
£83 is the best offer so far for sky tv with sports, HD pack & BT Sports + fibre broadband.
Sky Signature £18
Ultimate TV £6
Sky Sports £6
Sky HD £3
Sky UHD £1
Cinema £11
Sky Kids £1
I removed BT Sport too - it's too expensive (£27 with no contract £24 with) for what you get
Accepted £54 for:
Sky Signature £18
Ultimate TV £5
Sky Sports £12
Sky HD £3
Sky UHD £0
Cinema £5
Sky Kids £1
Multiscreen £10
Admin fee reduced from £30 to £20 then £0!
This was £11.50 less than I'm paying now & £53 less than their 1st offer & £17 less than their 2nd offer
Could probably have done better if I'd waited longer - I was only one week into the notice period.

Is it worth calling? Or is it the same deals over the phone as online chat?
Thanks0 -

Your lucky too get through on a live chat to the correct department.
Being trying the online chat for weeks (comeback dept) but it's always busy! and can't get through.
Might have to start looking at BT TV as long as all the sports channels are in HD!0 -

However, they have made a right mess of the next bill - it's about £30 too much - virtually impossible to work out what they've done wrong!0 -
Well five days to go and still no contact from SKY apart from a text message on the 10th January offering the same deal mentioned above.
SKY broadband is also significantly more expensive than other providers so they must bring Ultrafast prices to match other deals out there.0 -
Worth checking your bill after re-contracting. Mine was £97 - I was expecting about £40. After 1hr 10mins on phone, they reluctantly agreed and knocked £60 off.
Their bills are very confusing. I worked out in the end that they'd charged again for bits of my package paid for in the previous month.0 -
Cancelled 28 days ago, had a couple of calls and a couple of letters through the post. Jumped on the chat a couple of times and rejected their deals.
This evening, jumped on the chat and managed to get the £52 deal below. Refused to pay the admin and it was waived. Was paying £68 for same deal without Sky HD previously.Could have followed through with cancellation and got a better deal but have been with sky for 14 years and didn’t want to be without service.Happy!0 -
Anyone else had the SKY broadband text you finish in five days but if you don't sign up in the next 48 hrs we cannot guarantee your service. Nothing like ramping up the pressure0
