What are you expecting to pay for that?  Their section of the deal looks reasonable, £32 for tv part sounds good.  BT doesn’t get discounted much does it?
  • I signed up as a new customer today with a family and friends employee referral, my partners services terminate on the 2nd March and I take over on the same day.

    Signature £18
    Multiscreen £9.75
    HD £4.55
    Ultra HD £0
    Ultimate TV £4
    £36 for Ultrafast Plus
    Total £72.30

Had to pay the £29 set up fee, but be surprised if Sky offer a better retention deal to my partner, it will be just my luck that they do though.
  • Signature £16
    Sports Complete HD £12
Ultimate £5  (Fist 2 months free)
Are you getting Signature in HD included in that price ??
    Not HD Signature.
I have an old Sony tv with a great picture but not all singing and dancing or latest spec.
Think it would be wasted on me tbh and I was trying to save money on Sky subscription..but I do notice the difference in HD with fast moving sports.
  • My 18 months contract for TV, phone, Sport, HD, Netflix, Q and one additional box costs £82/month and expires in May. I don’t have mobile, Cinema or Kids packages.

Sky are indicating a rise to £134/month from that point.

When should I start haggling? Now or nearer the time? What response can I expect from Sky?

    Thanks…
  • My sky TV was disconnected 3 weeks ago, I contacted them through chat today and got Signature for £11 and Sky Sports HD for £12, they tried to charge £20 admin fee but I dug my heels in and they agreed to refund the admin charge as credit on my next bill.

I have been using "other methods" for live sport recently but for the ease of recording what you want and watching it when you want to £12 seems like a good deal. Its a shame you can't just have sky sports without having the Signature package. Anyway, good luck to everyone trying to get a better deal and I'll probably be back here again in 18 months!
  • Got to 2 days before cancellation kicked and finally accepted a deal of £79.30

    signature - 16.30
    sports - 4
    ultra hd - 5
Cinema - 11 (rip off but sports goes to 12 if I drop it - so at £3 per month with sports just about value)
    sports hd - 2
    Sky hd - 3
    ultra hd- free
    multiscreen - 10
    superfast bb - 28

maybe could have eeked out another couple of quid but couldn’t be bothered with anymore chats and calls.
I dropped bt sports as just no value at 24.
  • I wonder if today’s announcement regarding the shocking rise in power prices will concentrate minds in Sky’s retention department?  Can they really expect people like to also accept Sky’s proposed £55/month price rise (in my case)?

    Just been cut off!
Now no sky tv or sky broadband 😢
Chatted to them yesterday, but they still ain't budging.
They seem to be playing hard ball these days, happy to call my bluff.
Gone are the days when they phone you up in the final week with an amazing offer begging you to stay!
  • Cancelled a few weeks ago. Got an offer on chat for £63.99 after a few days, rejected, and have now been called with this offer today:

    Signature £16
    Sports (+HD) £6
    Cinema £11
    HD £3
    UHD £0
    Multiscreen £10
    Disney+ £7.99

    £58.99/month

Admin charge removed, and additional £25 bill credit. At the moment, have rejected and holding out to see if they can better the offer on Multiscreen as I have seen cheaper.
