I'm on Q and Ultimate TV (which is just Netflix on Q). Sky have this annoying habit of reusing names for different services and always have done.

Just to keep things confusing, when you add Netflix to Sky Q signature, Sky call it the "Ultimate TV Add On" - which is a different thing to the Sky Stream Ultimate TV package (which does also include Netflix)

I have what you have but no multiroom OR Netflix. Paying £44 pm currently . Should aim for less than you were paying up til now

First "offer" - 1st month "free" then 6 months @ £7 pm; next offer £6 pm for 12 months then finally this week , £9 pm extra with no minimum period ,presumably still notice period of some sort !!

The problem ,even if I was inclined to accept an offer ,is that I suspect that Sky will fiddle with some or all of my existing discounted deal which still has 18 months to go.

It's a poisoned chalice. The discount will stay fixed and the base price will be exposed to their price increases. They tried 3 times on the same call when I renegotiated.

Usually with just 31 days notice to cancel and will have no effect whatsoever on your other services.

Given they're 31 days to cancel these deals I can't see how "poisoned chalice" comes into it?
