    What would you guys do?

As always your help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks
I am in a similar position and I am going to cancel and see what they come up with. I can do without everything apart from football so I can wait until the new season and see if they give me what I want.

What would you guys do as it's costing me £17 more per month to just have UHD.
Or without UHD it's still costing me £13 more each month to stay with the same package I've had for the past 18 months.
No Cheaper and they can't even match my price I've been paying.

    What would you guys do?

As always your help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks
Firstly ,unless you have 20/20 vision and are sitting very close to your screen don't bother with the upgrade to UHD.
Secondly, put in cancellation !! Altho' as a matter of interest ,your current price of £34 pm is very good ~ 60% off "list" price.
  • I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'm guessing we all got this from Black Friday 2019 deals.
    Currently I'm on:
    - sky entertainment: £12
    - sky sports £ 13 + HD
    - sky HD - £3
    - sky Q/multiscreen/UHD - £7
    Total: £37.

The best I can get offered is:
    - sky signature: £21
    - sky sports: £22
    - HD + UHD - £11
    Total £54.
So the best deal from customer retention involves me paying more.

It looks like we are having a problem with your request.

We're working a little differently in these challenging times to keep our staff and customers safe. We're currently only able to deal with calls from our vulnerable customers and key workers, so please don't contact us. Instead, use the help available online, on the My Sky app, and on your Sky box.

I had the usual merry dance with Sky yesterday. Best advice has already been posted.
    1) Call the retentions number and say you want to cancel
    2) Let them try and change your package/offer you their "best deal".
    3) Hold firm and say you still want to cancel, and will check your finances etc. They will formalise the process and say you have 31 days to change your mind.
    4) Wait half hour or so, log into the website, go to the "mydeal" page and there you will have better offers than what retentions can give.
I ended up calling them back and they spent an age trying to match the web page offer but eventually threw in Broadband Boost as part of the deal.

    Hi Guys
can i ask if you were to call up tonight and cancel due to being out of contract, do you lose access to your box features etc straightaway? then wait for the offers, sign up again, and your recorded/downloaded shows on your box will be avaliable again? or can you request the latest box?

    cheers
