    Hi Guys
can i ask if you were to call up tonight and cancel due to being out of contract, do you lose access to your box features etc straightaway? then wait for the offers, sign up again, and your recorded/downloaded shows on your box will be avaliable again? or can you request the latest box?

    cheers
No, the recordings and downloads remain on there until the cancellation is complete 31 days later. They tell you this in their cancellation blurb.
  • Hi all, first time commenter so hoping someone here can help me out!
My contract is coming to an end in the next month or so. Received an email from Sky late last week saying they were going to extend my existing offers for another 18 months - no action needed.

Great, or so I thought. Logged into mysky and saw that my bills will actually increase by £10. Contacted Sky today and the best they could do was £14 more than my new increased price - so I asked to cancel.

Feels pretty dodgy to email saying my price won't change and actually increasing my price!

    Current package:
    Entertainment £21
    Sky sports £13
    Cinema £8
    HD £5
    Multiroom FREE
    Super fast Broadband £26
    Total £73

Will move to £83 in July
Best Sky could offer £94 + £20 admin fee!

Any thoughts on a price to target for that package? I'd rather not completely lose sky, but could probably survive a few days out of contract if it gets me a better price.

    • Sky Cinema £10

I also subscribe to Netflix (4 devices) for £13.99/month making a total of £95.99
I've contacted SKY retentions by chat and been offered:
    • Signature £16 Normally £31
    • Ultimate TV £5 (netflix)
    • HD £3 Normally £7
    • UHD £4
    • Sports £19 Normally £32
    • Multiscreen £15

TOTAL £62/month and would include the premium version of Netflix.

    I make this a saving of £33.99/month

    What do you think?

Could somebody give me some advice please - i gave my cancellation notice a few days ago (from a TV and broadband and phone deal) and have since gone to the mydeals website for their improved offer. The problem is that they are only offering a TV deal. Does this page ever also offer a broadband deal too as I’d rather keep my supplier for both TV and broadband the same.

    Thank in advance

Sky generally won’t do a deal on broadband for second term it’s always best to move broadband to new supplier

Woohoo!!! Ok, have just got off from Sky Chat online with a new deal i'm happy with.
    All Sky Q 2TB with 4 mini boxes(Already got)
    Signature 20
    HD and UHD Free
    Ultimate(Netflix) 5
    Multiscreen 10
    Sports 14
    TV Total £49
Ultrafast Broadband 100 Mbps Guaranteed £27
£10 Admin charge(Tried my hardest but wouldnt drop this-they already took £10 off-should be 20)
So total cost is £76 per month

I believe I scraped every last drop out of them.
It took a good few hours over 2 days, and one thing to note is TV and Broadband are completely different, you get no better deal doing them at the same time.
Thats me done for another 18 months!!

Sky are so frustrating with their differing offers for differing people. What you get discounted heavily I get others discounted for but they all end up roughly the same. They have offered me today (during my cancellation month) the following:

    sky signature £17
    Netflix ultimate £5
    Kids £2
    HD £3
    67mb broadband £25
    multiscreen £11

I forgot to ask them if the multiscreen then included the supply of a new mini Sky Q box which I returned a few months ago after dropping multiscreen. They didn't mention sports even though I queried it.
