Hi there
I'm trying to help my Father in Law reduce his SKY bill which is ridiculous. I normally cancel every 2 years to get the best price but I'm not sure he will want the stress of this. What should we target for a sensible renewal?

Is that what your paying now?
Is this before any discounts?
Call them now and cancel and then have a look round for maybe Virgin media if available.
Dont cancel the broadband and phone though.

Yes this is what he is paying now!
He wants to stay with SKY as they have Sky+ and are used to this.0 -
OK the best offer I received was £161.99I've cancelled but should I be worred about this?
Just a final heads-up before we proceed with the cancellation:
Once your account is cancelled, any retention offers currently applied will be permanently removed.
If you decide to reactivate your services in the future, only standard offers will be available—unfortunately, the previous retention benefits won’t carry over.0 -
@copels did you read my post about don't cancel broadband/phone?
As you have no offers for TV to start with what you copied and pasted is irrelevant.
Are you sure your dad has sky + box as I don't think you can have Netflix on that box unless I am wrong.
"He wants to stay with SKY as they have Sky+ and are used to this."

You can't have Netflix (no apps at all) and you can't have UHD as the box isn't capable.

@JSmithy45AD copels said they have Sky+ and don't want to change as they are happy with Sky +.
Not sure why the prices and what service they have are to do with having Sky + are.

@copels No idea what you did with that table but it won't allow it to be quoted without just posting json code.
The prices you originally quoted are obviously out of contract full prices and they're for Sky Q, not Sky HD+
The discounted prices that followed are at least £30 overpriced. Does he really need all of that including UL telephone calls?
