Board Guide Note: We seem to be getting a bit "medical" in some posts now, and site rules do not allow the posting of medical advice. Please be aware that the moderators will step in and delete posts that do not follow the rules.

    Sorry Squeaks

I have edited my last post & just left the Denplan link for Curry Queen, is this OK? I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer.

I'm really not sure. The policy on medical advice is very strict - as it needs to be. I'd be happier if you were to post that info into the Health Board where the Board Guide there will know a whole lot more about what is and isn't permitted.

I think your post is OK but I don't know for sure.

You could leave a link to it once you're done :)

Well...the show is a travelling show that goes from town to town. Like a carnival. It's on tonight and also on for the full day tomorrow which is our public holiday. Lots of fun for the kids & the farmers show horses, bulls etc. Ho Hum. Nobody but us gets it. :j The temp here at the moment is about 15 degrees. Would be colder outside.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

OOHHHH Luuuurve those sayings. I shall add them to my list of well used odities. (If Ma Lillibet doesn't mind);) "Bogetory", "Did it Thump" and "Heck-i-peck" are my current favourites.

Gosh but it's been a fun day :)

I've now indexed the gift threads that are listed in our Gifts and Celebrations collection.

If you spot other gift based threads that could be added to the collection please let me know.

    :)

I don't know what to do with myself today. For the last 3 1/2 years I've had Fridays off, having worked 4 x 10 hour shifts Mon - Thurs. Today is my last Friday off, cos from next week I have to work Mon - Fri. It's a bit of shock to the system. How do I make the momentous occasion of "my last ever friday off"? Ideas?

This is gonna sound like a really odd question - but has anyone heared that old joke about putting your credit card in the freezer? would that actually damage your card - and how on earth would it stop you using it? - as presumably you would have to put it in a water-tight container which you could just open really easily...
I am DETERMINED this month to hang on to every penny, so by next month I will finally be in my interest free overdraft - first step, dont spend any money till sunday when I will get £100 in cash for some work - then that will be my money for the rest of the month.
I just know that before Sunday I'm going to want to go and buy something! so I thought maybe i could just freeze the card! (nb. its a debit card not a credit card - the credit card is in tiny pieces at the bottom of a garbage pile! heh heh heh!)
nb. there is no one around I can give my card too - my friends are not very spendthrifty, they would just give it back and convince me to go out to dinner! :rotfl:

Am making a large quantity of bread and butter pudding this evening - so at least i wont have an excuse to go out for snacks! (its my one eve off work tonight - there is nothing, like doing nothing, to make you feel hungry!)
    :D
nb. since im in the coffee shop can I have a double expresso, fair trade please and a cheese and roast pepper pannini! and some vanilla and strawberry sorbet cus its damned hot in London!
I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!
