It's a slow cooker! :money: It was up the loft, so I pretended to be going to fetch it myself, so daddy got it for me
It's a Haden 3 litre one. Is that big or small?
I've decided I'm making
I'm not quite sure if I have the other ingredients though

I'm cooking a "bone in breast" joint. Do I need to cook it first, or just put it in as it is?Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Believe me, it'll taste great as well as smell great. And practice makes perfect, so just keep experimenting.0 -
Daddy knew I was gonna be cooking today so he came home with a precooked chicken!
It was really yummy though! Eccles really loved the potatoes. My dad wants me to do something again tomorrow, but he didn't buy anything for me to cook. Unless you can cook ready meals in a slow cookerMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

What is this about slow cookers? I never heard of them until i came on here0
-
I was lent a slow cooker last week and have to admit I had never heard of one until then. I made a lamb casserole and cannot believe how easy it was to use, I put it on a slow heat and left it cooking all day and the result was excellent.
If I bought one I would need a large family size one preferably oval shaped and one I could put, part of it in the dishwasher,(not a lot to ask!).
I'm going to try a few more recipes first. Any help re recipes, books, websites and obviously the best slow cooker for family use will be greatly appreciated.(and where to buy at the best price!)0
