I've just spent 1.5 hours on sky chat to try and get a discount on the £80 i pay a month for the full hd package without broadband or calls which i think is a huge amount to pay a month. All they would offer was 25% off so i cancelled. Will have to see if i get offered anything!!

Out of contract with Sky. Have been on Variety pack bundle at £16.50/month for 10 months but that has now finished so gone up to £26.50/month.

Used online chat this morning. Spoke to 2 advisors. First only offered me 25% off so asked to cancel (said he couldn't as systems were down :mad:). So went back online and went through to cancellations (hoping I'd get offered something better). After nearly 2 hours sweat still only got offered 25% so proceeded with the cancellation (still hoping I might get something ....) Got offered NOTHING.

So, SKY goes off in 1 months time...... Not told the missus yet _pale_.

Have just checked the SKY service app and have been offered 35% off. I'm going to hold out for more though.
Let's see what happens now ..

I'm in a similar situation - tried to get a lower price with Sky but they wouldn't so I cancelled. Too bad for them though, I already switched my phone and broadband to a better deal! So... if they come back to me with a decent TV offer I might stay just with TV. But if not... well, so long Sky! I can get Now TV for cheaper.

Far cheaper. I'm currently paying £3.75 a month for 4 months for entertainment. When that finishes in September I will cancel and get the next offer which will probably be the same. We have a Freesat PVR for recording normal channels.
Its a no brainer especially if money is tight with savings of several hundred pounds a year.

Just got offered a measly 25% off which works out £5 more than I was paying before the increase on the 1st June !!!

Here's an update ... Got the 35% discount on the SKY Service App yesterday straight after cancelling.

Just checked MySky online account and have a 50% off any SKY TV Bundle for 12 months sat there ! Offer expires 30th June and my SKY Tv is due to go off 6th July ....should I hang out for a better offer or not ??? Hmmmmm

Cancelled Sky Sports on 5th May and the call agent accidently cancelled it all.

Sky offered me 50% off for 12 months as a returning customer. Tried to get me on a contract but as my Sky hadn't been switched off on the TV but had been on Sky Go (hence how I noticed something was up), I was still receiving pictures, so after challenging the chap let me have the package I wanted (took 30 secs to convince him), variety with sports for 12 months half price with NO contract as I was never fully switched off (and i've had confirmation email today) so that was through the win back team.

Very pleased.

Called them up on Saturday last week as my 12 months half price was coming to an end, told them I wanted to give my 31 days notice unless they offered me the 50% off deal again, they said they couldn't and went into the notice period. I had a call tonight to say say they were sorry to hear I was leaving and what would it take me to stay, I said another 12 months with 50% off and he said "ok"

£33.75 Going up to £71.50

I wanna ring up & cancel (Will only stay if they give me 50% off)

I would like Sky Family/Sky Sports HD Multi room/Sky+ Box (Maybe sky movies)...

If I ring up & Say I got 50% off tv letter (Only got 20%) with they accept it or not?
