I cancelled early this week, via telephone. The agent offered me 25%, which i refused. Online the offer was 35%, but has just gone up to 50% I am currrently on the Variety & Sky+ HD package. Do you think they will offer more?

They may still contact you after switch off.

In other news, the offer on mysky has gone up to 50% off any package for a year. Amazing, when they wouldn't budge from 25% off for 9 months when I cancelled last week.

I'm not sure whether to take it, wait for a possible better offer, or get a humax and wean myself off Sky!

You were half right! No contact but the "My Sky" now says 50% instead of 35%

Silly Sky, if they had offered it yesterday I wouldn't have bought a Humax.

And I can say that so far the Humax looks excellent and I don't think I shall miss Sky much.

The Sky Service app doesn't seem to open if you have cancelled. I've literally cancelled this hour and it's showing 50% off already.

Has anyone got Sky Q offers recently?

How can it not be opening if you're saying it shows 50%?

There's a staff introduce a friend or upgrade a friend offer but not aware of any others currently. :money:

Obviously cannot discuss these in public.;)

Thanks all. Alas, I would love to lose Sky but the missus loves her box sets and the kids love their Disney stuff. I'm over a barrel here.

now tv entertainment and kids pack(think they are splitting entertainment pack) ? can get 6 months for £20 on ebay
  • Hi all
I have just this minute renewed my sky package. My new package will be the whole pack inc sports movies and HD for £40 per month for 12 months on a monthly basis so no fixed 12 month term. this price also includes the increase on June 1st. so an overall saving of over 50%. I thought this was a fair deal and all done on skychat.

I know I was supposed to be strong and wean myself off Sky, and I tried for about 2 days after my subscription ended. Really I did!

Today I went onto live chat and was offered the full bang shoot with multi-screen for an effective £29.76 per month. Woohoo :-)

Just be careful and make sure to check your next bill after accepting one of these offers.

We have been paying £21.50 for a while now, and in April we were sent an email saying the bill was going up by £4.50 on 1st June, my partner rang and cancelled and they immediately offered him the same package for £14.75, for 6 months, to stay which he did. Cue the next bill which came out only it was £53.86...will need to get him to ring again this afternoon to sort.
