Fmess - I visited a Chiropractor one several years ago for a one off back problem caused by my desk set up at work. It was an alarming experience but it worked a treat - hope yours goes well.
Calling - wallpaper stripping is a horrid job.
GSRcat - sorry you've had a tough month, December might be better now you are back in the swing of things.
We need to go pick up our reserved item from Argos today, there are other things I want to do but not sure how the day will pan out so I will pop back later with an update.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning
so did achieve a NSD yesterday
woop woop
today not so much, forgot to bring in cash for charity pot at work so had to buy a bottle of water (only 84p) so I could get some cash back.
Also my dad is putting some bits up for us tomorrow at home and I ordered some shelves off Amazon with a voucher and they were meant to be here Thursday but not even dispatched yet  so tried to get a refund of those and will have to go to Bee&Que later to get some :mad: so will be a spendy day!!
Anyway three things I am grateful for today:
1. My husband for being amazing (been feeling low the last few days and he has been there to pick me up)
2. The weather - it's not too cold (still cold) but not too cold
3. My cats, one was being rather naughty this morning trying to get into my cereal bowl whilst I was eating!! But there is nothing cuter than waking up with your husband next to you and your car curled up on the bed too

Morning Turtles
Have actually been able to post properly today as have my husband off to help juggle the baby
Off to the nearest big town centre today to pay some money in for son and DD. Also have managed to get to the supermarket and am trying out the cheapest nappies to see if they are ok. £1.40 for 20 compared to the eye watering price of big brand packs (£5+) I am still keen to try out cloth bums as they get called round these parts but in these early days I've just thought I will chill out and get through it rather than worrying about another thing. Over time it should be a real saving though.
I know some people are very anti the Bounty packs given out in hospital but I've found the items and promotions to be ok. I have a flyer to take into boots or argos today to claim some other bits.
Exercise today will be dance class for son and walking at pace for us.
Have a good day all.

Hi everyone - didn't get a check in yesterday as I was on the go from half seven until after 11pm. I was shattered, but it was a fun day.
As payday finally approaches I've been looking back over the month and reviewing goals. Obviously becoming df has been a real achievement for me, and I'm thrilled that I'm pretty much intact mentally as well after another busy month.
The only thing that I'm a bit disappointed with is the amount of grocery shopping I still do. Plan the big shop then pop in for YS stuff and bits and bobs a couple of times a week - I spend a fortune on extras that I just don't need. So that's one target for next month.
Things I am grateful for today
1. Catching up with friends I hadn't seen for ages.
2. Being df
3. 2 days to payday :jNot giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control
