Hi everyone
Feeling very tired and all over the place today as this month i've been treated to two times of the month
Oh well, at least i know why i felt awful yesterday
Thrifty, well done on the extra-as Tescoo say every little helps
Well I've paid back my emergency fund today, but have no idea how December in all it's entirety, is going to happen as I'm short. But, I will be creative
I will weather this storm. Today i'm grateful my daughter is coming home tomorrow till January, that I'm going to try to fight honorably to not let December to be a complete financial disaster :rotfl: and that my family and I have a roof over our heads and food in the fridge and cupboards.

Evening all,
Didn't get round to posting last night cos I was so tired so went to bed early.
I got paid on Wednesday so I have already started my budgets for the next 4 weeks, i paid off a credit card in full which I am so pleased about, always a kicker but good to know its gone now, have decided I will pay a big chunk off the other one next month to get rid of the interest from the purchase
Food- £90 online shop, DH topped up, not sure how much spent on top ups. Keeping all receipts this month.
NSD- 14/15 think it's the best I've ever had, but I've been so skint that I have had no choice!
Generally I take my own drinks and snacks to work but I had some credit on my keys on so I have used that up.
I work at night generally but I worked in the day as well yesterday so I took a sandwich from home
I have got into the habit of running everything in my cupboards and fridge right down and meal planning, I made a batch of chilli from the power of frozen book and froze two portions for extra meals.
Donated two bin bags full of children's toys to the local community church group
I'm using up everything before I buy more however tempting it is to buy a different toilet cleaner cos the Eco one isn't as hard core!
I've been out once to a children's party where I had to pay entry for my older child as it was youngest who was invited and for us both to eat.
As I don't have a car I walk everywhere anyway, i think everyone should walk more, since I've not had my car which has been for 10 months now I get annoyed at why people drive to somewhere they could very easily walk.
Donated £5 to poppy appeal and £3 to my usual charity and £1 and two cakes to the school for children in need.
I've helped people at work with various things and been a shoulder to cry on for a friend who is having an emotional time at the moment.
I've made £54 on selling my phone
Not so goods-
I've not started any new habits
On bad days I have struggled to think about what I am grateful for.
I have been really skint this month, I know I joined mid month but I've just suffered. I have sat down and planned all my Christmas shopping etc so that I can try and balance it a bit better.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

Evening all,
Spendy day today and I have been naughty again (Christmas jumper and burger from McDonalds!) but I have bought most of the food shopping for the month. I've also decided that I am going to drive to two of my Christmas dos and so massively reducing the expense (taxis and alcohol).
I have however had to sign up and prepay for a chiropractic appointment as (can't remember if I said) I might have a trapped nerve in my back and it's affecting my feet. That had to go on the credit card and will be paid off next monthPayday was only Wednesday and I'm using the credit card already (I have to save cash for specific things but the chiropractor accepts credit cards!)

My skin looks awful considering been having steam treatment all day. Given up with trying to remove whatever is on the lower part of the wall some sort of coating Wallpapering hopefully will cover mess. So a sfd.
Got a stinking headache.

Wet miserable day so retreated into shell. Have been as far as the library, very dark out there.
Overall for the month I feel I could have done more especially getting rid of things. Several large things that need to go but lots of progress with small things - using up threads is becoming therapeutic, moving info from big old address book (falling apart) into much smaller book etc. Could probably throw away all my clothes but will have to wait until I have money (long sleeved t-shirts, one has a hole, another has shrunk to being short and wide, will just keep layering to hide the faults for now).
Today I am grateful for lovely books, pretty but rendom sewing and avoiding all the black Friday hype). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today I am grateful for balsam tissues for dd, for finding the exact maroon-coloured fabric I wanted in a charity shop, for a great catch-up with my mum, for chatting with dh and getting ideas about presents for other people, for my neighbour popping round.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Evening turtles, this time of year seems to cause many of us hassle and stress yet year after year I do exactly the same and spend spend spend, at least this year it isn't on credit.
Today wasn't a NSD but I am really happy that I banked a fair amount rather than squandered it in the sales. I walked my legs off today so def got my 20 mins exercise ten times over.
Picked up a few bits I'd fast tracked last weekend in 3 for 2 toy sale, and was stunned our local shop centre was so so quiet I was expecting chaos, I have just done an online shop for the morning but really tempted to cancel it and make do til Monday and then do a good shop just need to coax hubby. Using up toiletries and cleaning bits is going really well and can't believe I've only bought toothpaste all month in those categories, prob saved at least a tenner.
Enough rambling I'm grateful for my pay rise in this week's wages, a nice hour out at local church Christmas fete Santa rocks lol,and last but no means least a cosy night in with the family. Night all.NST October #24.

Fmess - sounds painful hope the appointment will help.
Calling -stripping wallpaper is hard work. Sorry to hear about the electrics..
Mothernerd - just think how much you have done though, loads by the sound of it.
Today I am grateful for
1. Husband working hard to help our son learn his spellings for the weekly test. Son got full marks for the first time ever and was very proud.
2. A delicious chicken and aubergine curry for dinner. Just what I wanted on a cold day like this.
3. Good chats with friends.
