Morning all
mothernerd well done on all your work at the other house
traveller hope your takeaway was lovely
welshkitty well done on money making at the fair
I have today off which I am so grateful for
I got paid on Wednesday so will do a big food shop today.
I am concerned about this month as I already have the following in the diary - hair cut and colour, beautician visit, dinner with friends, work Christmas do and Christmas do with other friends and my budget is £100 for misc for the month which is not going to cover it. Plus my friend is visiting this weekend and I need to entertain her but I think she'll be happy with cheap activities as she just wants to get out of the big smoke for a weekend.
Today the plan is to tidy and clean and get some food in the cupboards.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Black Friday has proved stressful for me. It is DD's birthday next week and she is getting a laptop which will be her joint birthday/christmas present so today was a good day to look for a deal. I managed to get one with a saving of £130 plus internet protection and Office 365 half price, it came to £20 over budget but I said if she paid the extra herself she could have that one. She agreed and we collect it tomorrow.
I also got DS's joint christmas/birthday present with a £100 saving for collection next week. All in all before breakfast I had spent £520 but I have saved the money up and it was all within budget.
I have also cycled this morning. More exercise when I walk the dog later too. HM pizza for tea tonight then we are going to my parent's house for DH to install their new oven.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hello everyone

Hope you're all doing well, not had a chance to catch up yet but will at some point!!
Yesterday was hubby's birthday and was a NSD!!
we had people come over and I used food from my stock and I had already got his cake an presents
Aiming for today to be a NSD too, I need to donate some money to charity for something we're doing at work and I would need to get cash back for that so and I don't have any change on me so I am going to resist buying something and get the change and do it tomorrow
So tomorrow will be a spend day but at least it is going to a good cause
Three things today:
1. Woke up nice and warm and toasty.
2. My hubby had a good day yesterday
3. Left overs!! Means lunch today at work

Just got our payslip ahead of payday on Monday and had an extra 60 quid. Must be the 1% pay rise back dated to August. Nice bonus before christmas (will keep it as back up) but only really works out 12 quid a month. Better than nothing
finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)0
