Evening all. Had a good solid day at my desk today, feel so much better for getting loads done. If only I didn't have to deal with some of the people I work with it would have been bliss!
Bit of a random question (and not challenge related sorry!) for those that are on a DMP or similar - do you have an emergency credit card or account that you keep just in case? I'm not sure I could get one but I've been living on the edge with money for the past couple of years. Most months are fine (hence saving for a holiday as well as paying into my DMP) but there's been the odd month or two where the cars died and I've not eaten properly for a week or so because all my spare cash has gone to fixing it for example. I'd be interested to hear what other people do?
Anyways things I'm grateful for today - my friend who just called me for 40 minutes and it felt like 5, getting over the hump of some pretty stressful days at work, going to see my two besties tomorrow for a fun chilled weekend.0 -
Evening all,
Congratulations welshkitty
Today is SFD number 8. Is it just me or are there a lot of turtles with very busy jobs at the moment?
Today I am grateful for:-
1. Having new neighbours who appear lovely - I was brave and went to introduce myself
2. My new neighbours wanting to take down the trees (very soon) that are causing the cracks in both of our properties
3. having had a good, safe childhood - did a training course this afternoon at work that made me felt very gratefulLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Evening all
I'm so tired - I still feel as though I've been run over by a bus but better than I have done for a few days. I just want a bit of relaxing time to myself.
Another nsd today - taking me to 8. Not too much else to report as I've been really busy at work.
Things I am grateful for today
1. Being able to sit down and relax before 8pm (just, but I managed)
2. A brilliant friend at work who brought me a bunch of flowers
3. Another day closer to payday :TNot giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt

Late check in from me. Have just been watching Tom Jones on Children in Need. Amazing voice. Hearing the stories of those families makes me so sad for the children..but also hopeful the show will raise much needed funds.
It is my son's 7th birthday tommorow. I feel very proud of the little boy he is growing into. But also have the usual parental bittersweet feeling going on at 'losing' the baby he was....
Today I am grateful for:
1. 2 healthy children
2. A nice meal prepared by OH
3. Being strong

Tis the season to swop Internet providers;-)
Swooped router over today and BT faster than talk talk. Not on super fast fibre thingy. Fingers crossed get Quidco cash back now.
Spendy day needed milk fruit and bread.
Had a wet walk before 70mph wind arrived, however bought a coffee with friend as good to catch up. Nice sitting outside under cover watching rough seas.
Deluttering 3 old routers, freezer taken back to friends, bits cs 10/80

Driving home I found old guy I knew lying on the pavement with his border collie beside him lying down as well. I stopped he had been blown over by gust wind, luckily he was okay but was amazed at doggie being so loyal. Truly man's best friend. Thought I would share so cute xLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220

Hi everyone,
I need another talking to!! Im really failing this month, please can someone kick me up the bum!!
Ive spent lots and re-shuffled budgets leaving me with £50 for next week and £50 for the week after. This is for food, petrol and everything else. Hope we can manage it!
Car insurance is due next week and i REALLY want to pay it off in one go to save interest and save paying monthly.
Ive budgetted so that im left with that amount so i cannot spend anymore on anything else!Still here..... but working on that!0 -

Hello everyone
Congratulations on the job Welshkitty !!
Today has been a spendy day as went halves with MIL for food shop and bought a Christmas present, However I did manage a LTW so all good.
Work and college have been really busy so I am pretty tired this week.
Not really been up to much just plodding on with life and remembering that I will not be in this situation forever.
Today I am grateful for
1. Having a comfy bed
2. the sound of the rain outside
3. Having good friends
Hope you all have had a good evening
Night all
Lucky xx0
