    Merry Christmas everyone.

I haven't reported in for a while. I was hoping to add to the emergency fund this month but had a few extras to pay for first. I had allowed £50 for diy this month.

However the laptop had to go to laptop hospital on Christmas Eve (not charging/ invaded by ads/ viruses then stopped responding). Got it back the same day but also have a possible completion date of January 8th for the sale of the house so have put aside £50 for help from son's friend as I need to clear all the stuff from the shed before the sale completes.

Should do better next year as I should have a tiny nest egg after everything has been paid from the sale proceeds (including contribution to mum's bungalow). Then will need to set a new target.

    Enjoy your holidays.

  • Hello, it's Moonbean on a brand new account.
I'd like to switch to this account please, if possible.

I'm going to have to start at £0.00 because I am really barely scraping through this month.
I literally have no money left and I need the money for bus fare.
