I've had two Dial-a-phone contracts. My only problem was that I didn't remember to send off all my claims. Those i did remeber were paid.

Thinking of getting a cashback contract with phones for you, just wondering if they are reliable at paying out? Also does it look likely they might go bust??

Just finished another contract with them.............yet again, their cashback system is flawless, cheques received within one week of the claim being received (not 90 days like certain other outfits).

Spot on every time and their terms and conditions are so simple to follow, you'd have to be an idiot to mess up.

    I can heartily recommend them.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

I am also planning on buying a phone through them and planning to port my number from virgin to O2 with DAP.

Can I port my number after I get the phone as their website suggests.

And does porting affect the cash-back in any way.

    Thanks
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T
  • both myself and lots of my family members have had contracts wth dialaphone and also ported numbers. always make sure you send off the correct bills and adhere to the terms and conditions.
then you will be ok as they are the very best for cashback deals

Myself and OH have 3 contracts between us with dialaphone. All 3 on £10 per month line rental deal which is via 3 installments of cashback.

Sent off 3 claims, separate envelopes, recorded delivery same day etc. OH had confirmation of claim and that a cheque for £80 was on way. Logged onto "my account" and the cashback for all 3 phones changed to 2 claims for £80 each.

I have emailed dialaphone as it's a bit odd all 3 accounts are wrong but no response.

I've always rated this company as one of the more reasonable ones out there, although admittedly their telephone support does need some improvement. I've had a deal with "cashback gift redemption" where the cashback is substituted for a free gift (I chose an ipod in my case) but I've also had the cashback chosen as cash, which came through OK. BTW, if the above seems a bit vague, let me note that I had full choice of whether I chose a gift or cash, just in case it came over as DialaPhone pulling strings.

    Cheers.
