I am planning to take a contract from Dialaphone and planning to go through quidco (Its a cash back deal). I have 2 Qs:
    1. Can I still do a refer a friend even if I am going through quidco (I have requested that on refferal board)
    2. I have to port the number as well from my present virgin sim to the new contract on T-mobile. According to their website, it is possible to do it after you get the phone. Has anyone here ported their number on a cashback deal and would it affect the cash-back in anyway.
    Many thanks
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

There is one item at the end of the 'Important Points to Note' that I am not sure how to interpret:
'You will cease to be entitled to your redemptions if your airtime contract has been terminated at the date the redemption has been applied unless a delay in applying the redemption is our fault.'

I have a deal with T-Mobile that reaches its 12-month anniversary on 20 July and I will have to send in my bill to be dated 21 June to reach them between 20 July and 20 August for the final cashback. Ok, not for a while yet, but I usually port to another provider each year for the best deals. Does this mean I should wait until I receive the cheque before porting, or once I receive a message to say they have received my bill?

Another question is that I cancelled the direct debit on the insurance but forgot to write to the insurer. Should I write to them now to cancel, and do you think they would ask for the premiums between the end of the free period and now?

Last question: Dialaphone's chequeback FAQs do say that I could drop to a cheaper tariff but not affect the cashback. I am now six months in, so has anyone else changed their tariff with a cut in line rental but still claimed cashback ok?

    Thanks, James.

Didn't you receive the instructions when you got the phone.

I ordered a phone last week and I received the instructions when and where to send my bills.
They usually tell you that a bill dated between so and so date to be received by them by a particular date.

  • Hi guys

So i've got a contract phone at the moment with a cashback offer with Dialaphone.

I know cashbacks are not the most reliable things and i dunno what reputation Dialaphone has at the moment but it's worth a go anyway.

For my first claim, it says this:

"Post your most recent bill within the qualifying period"

Then it says Start Date: 26 March 2008
    End Date: 26 April 2008

I might be being a bit thick but what does that mean exactly? Do i have to wait till I get a bill after the 26th March and then send that?

    Thanks in advance

Yes do exactly what they have asked, when you get your bill that is dated 26 March 2008 or 26 April 2008 or any day in between send it off immediately recorded post. That's what i did last Thursday and recieved cheque today, now thats what i call Very Good
Be good to the young on their way up you might need them on your way down.

Strange my details say, post original bill dated between 29/1/08 and 29/2/08. this bill must be recieved by us between 29/2/08 and 31/3/08, this seems different to the advice above or are they all different??

The dates vary for every contract depending on when you ordered and when is the bill due

  • Hi

I have a 12 month contract with dial a phone,
I didn't receive the welcome pack,
and can't get a straight answer out of them,
but from gathering info on this website...

    1. Are the cash back intervals at
    6 months, 9 months and 12 months?

    2. Do we just post our original statements registered mail,
to the cashback address on their websites?

    Thanks
  • Hi there, i'm currently with orange but my 12 month contract is due to end next month.
I currently have a nokia n95 and dont see any other phones that i want, so am looking instead to get another 12 month contract and using my existing phone.
I don’t usually consider using companies like dial-a-phone or e2save but I have noticed I can get a 12 month contract for £35pm (400 mins 500 txts) and a free phone plus a free ps3. Seeing as I don’t want/ need a new phone I am considering the option of a free ps3 (cant afford one outright). I cannot be bothered with the cash-back offers as I have heard a lot about how these companies never receive the bills that people send back.

I am just sceptical about the “free” ps3.

Also, I think I can go through quidco through dial-a-phone which I think is a further £40 back.

I am posting this to try and gauge opinion on this company and the “free” gifts they offer. Does anyone here have first hand experience of this company and such offers?

    Any feedback would be appreciated!
