Welcome to the 13th Nice People thread - no unluckiness for anyone here.
Pull up a pew and have a nice natter about anything nice, in a nice way, especially now that the autumn nights are drawing in.
I've found (not taken!) a picture just to illustrate this ...
Old hands and newbies equally welcome. The only rule is to be nice or, to nick (in the nicest possible taste) someone else's phrase, "leave your arguments and wind-ups at the door". :j
Chocolate or cake references always appreciated ...
Thanks to all who have previously started threads, particularly the first person carolt.
Previous threads can be found here:
Part 12, Part11, Part 10,Part 9, Part 8, Part 7, Part 6, Part 5, Part 4, Part 3, Part 2, and Part 1.
Away we go! :T

Appreciate it Yorkie, and love the pic. Thanks. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You're all welcome
Workshop went really well a week ago after the horrid night before it, but I then crashed for much of the weekend and Monday (day off).
I've now got 2 assignments and lots of extra reading to do in the next 3 weeks. The guinea pig at work has been identified and agreed for one of them, so lots of prep to do there ...
However I've done no studying tonight, and probably won't do any tomorrow as I'm going on a behind the scenes visit to the local council offices (more interesting than it sounds, with hidden passages hundreds of years old) in the morning and a glass fusing workshop in the afternoon :j
Sunday I shall be knuckling down again and probably Monday too (another day off - desperately trying to use up annual leave).0 -
Well done Yorkie! Thanks for the new thread! :beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

Thanks, Yorkie. Lovely photo.
Google thinks a DPF is incredibly mundane - a Diesel Particulates Filter. I was convinced the F would be for Fiat.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Finished part one of Das Boot. 1 hour 45 mins and not a torpedo fired. Made a cup of tea and opened part two. 3 hours. I knew I'd downloaded the long version but that's ridiculous.
Not sure I'll make it to the end, but I kind of want to try“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Oh, a new home!
Thanks Yorkie!💙💛 💔0
