That's why new home was a do-er upper. But it would have been impossible to live in while work went on - we had to have the whole of the ground floor dug up due to concrete sickness!

Well, there are rules, but plenty ignore them. They are supposed to be licensed now in Abersoch, but I imagine plenty don't bother. And I think you have to have basic lessons too. But again I imagine plenty don't bother. There have been some nasty accidents. Injured. Killed.lostinrates wrote: »

... passionflower ... I remember when we planted it we said, we'll wire that next week or the week after. I think that was last year. Maybe the year before.
How well I know that feeling! :rotfl: We still haven't sorted out the roses for the garden archway, maybe in the spring! Note I'm not saying which spring! And then there's the pruning in front garden. Maybe in a couple of weeks.

I was wondering whether all of those bonuses you mention e.g. views, local arts / green space etc, are worth mentioning in the property particulars to somewhat offset the lack of photos and highlight how different it is from other properties which look similar but are much further away?
Or would people know this anyway?0 -
I [STRIKE]promised[/STRIKE] threatened you with photo of the Big Teddy DD2 won way back in time. Here he is, sitting in our porch. :rotfl:

All the bits in the drill bit box have got mixed up. Haven't got a clue what's what.
How do you tell a masonary drill bit from a wood one? ( I only know because its in the right hole in the box)
This has mostly been answered by GDB but also, masonary tend to be silver/grey, metal black and wood brass.
WE have been invited to see the Sukkah of the people we provide laurel too, going round mid afternoon tomorrow. I suspect they may offer us at last tea and biscuits. Should we bring anything and if so what?I think....0 -
That pic certainly did give me a smile
Love the hat.

Kermie and I went to see my best mate again yesterday - her son is a day younger than Kermie. It's fantastic being able to spend more time together, it's ages since we've been able to do it much, and even more so without too many sentient children (Isaac and her 5 year old) or other halves clogging the place up.
They don't find each other very interesting, but did discover a brief mutual interest in a toy when propped in a sitting-up-thing together.
Then one slumped forward, the other fell backwards, and they both got annoyed at being laughed at........much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
