Nice People Thread Number 10 -the official residence of Nice People

Number 10 downing Street has 3 overlapping functions. It is the official residence of the British Prime Minister: it is their office, and it is also the place where the Prime Minister entertains guests.

By coincidence this thread has almost identical functions. It is the official residence of Nice People: it is where they discuss matters of the day, and it is also a place where Nice People welcome guests and newbies.

In the spirit of the board there is debate, current topics include soft furnishings , jewelry and elderly relatives . House prices are discussed, usually when a Nice Person is buying a house.

You are very welcome to join in, Nice people are a relaxed, polite, respectful and diverse bunch. Please let bygones be bygones and in the words of other opening posts leave your arguments and wind-ups at the door.

Thankyou to the previous thread starters: neverdespairgirl, silvercar, vivatifosi, nikkster, LydiaJ, lostinrates & carolt.

Ooohh shiny new thread and this time, I have noticed right at the start instead of going into a panic at not finding it!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Middle son's latest drum offering ....this one he had never played before and it had been a while since he had last heard it. So no practice, no rehearsal, just straight into it from memory of listening to it!

That's pretty good! Interesting cross-over technique with left hand onto penultimate tom-tom, but it works well :T

Fabulous! Really enjoyed his drumming. Please tell him well done from me and hope to find more links to his playing. Love, love, love a good drummer.

And such great taste in music. Just saw Nickleback at the First Direct Arena. Awesome band.

Once saw a fantastic t shirt in top shop. It said "You're just a drummer, not a rockstar". I still regret not buying it, but as a dedicated MSE'r, I couldn't justify the £20.!
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Owed at the end of -
    02/19 - £78,400. 04/19 - £85,000. 05/19 - £83,300. 06/19 - £78,900.
    07/19 - £77,500. 08/19 - £76,000.

It would be more effective if you were to distract PN from deleting her posts. At her present rate of rewriting history NP thread number 10 is going to be very premature.
