Good morning diary
Well I've declared all out war on our finances
I need to get super strict on our spending, this credit card needs to be gone by Christmas :j
I've paid £600 off of it in the last 3 days, the depressing thing is even after that the balance is nearly £700
I'll be one very happy bunny if the balance on the card is under £300 at the end of the month, that would make our overall debt under £6k :j
Right, I'm gonna put the apprentice on and try and tidy this lounge, it looks like a bomb has gone off :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Hello diary
Well tomorrow is payday and my hopes for taking a chunk out of that pesky credit card may be dashed
DH bought a new iron to replace the one that's playing up so now we have 2 (flaming Black Friday sales!) at least we didn't have to pay through the nose for one he liked so I suppose it was better to get a spare now than to wait till the iron goes kaput and have to shell out a fortune.
Worked out when we bought the original one, it was September last year, just can't work out how I paid for it so no proof of purchase for me to complain with
DH has also been let loose with that credit card so he can buy my Christmas presents (I hate people spending lots on me  ) but he's done overtime and says that can help pay for it so I guess I shouldn't moan (it's really hard not to! Whatever he buys I usually tell hi. I could get it cheaper)
Went on the wii fat a few days ago and found out I weigh 14st 3lb
Strangely it took me till Saturday for the penny to drop that I need to stop snacking :rotfl: so I've gone back to what I did last time I lost weight, try not to eat anything after 6pm, it seemed to do the trick last time
Need to get my weight down below 13 stone. I want to be a Skinny Minnie again :rotfl: (never gonna happen!)
Better get to bed, school run in the morning and money in the bank for me to juggle :j

Good morning diary
Well I took the plunge and paid £650 off the credit card without thinking too hard about it. Was it a good idea? Guess I'll find out when we have no money in a week or so :rotfl:
Logic tells me it's better to use it to pay the credit card than have it sat in the bank account being spent on random stuff
If I'm ripping my hair out by the middle of the month I only have myself to blame :rotfl:
Good thing I'm focusing on more is the outstanding balance on that card now stands at under £300 :j
£260 CC 1 (balance is now paid off every month so no interest is accrued)
£2,600 CC 2 0% BT until March 2016
£3,100 CC 3 0% BT until January 2017
Total outstanding £5,960 :j
On paper going below the £6k threshold is fantastic :j now if we can get below £5,500 for the new year I'll be happy, below £5k and I will be over the moon :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Aw dipdap, working 6 days a week is hard work. I hope you'll get some time off over Christmas to have fun.
I wasn't organised enough to order a food shop before all the time slots were gone.
I don't know how much time you will have this side of Christmas to pop in so just in case you don't get chance, I'll wish you a fantastic Christmas now :xmastree: I look forward to following you and your diary into 2016.

Hello diary, happy Christmas!
Well the kids seem very happy with their presents :j I just wish this singing frozen doll had an off switch!
I got a Fitbit which I love already and a Rubik's cube (my Nan bought me a book on how to solve it as a kid so with a bit of help from google I've managed to remember how to solve it in under an hour twice now :rotfl: )
