    Good morning diary :)
Well if it doesn't rain it pours :rotfl:
The iron has just packed up and I can't find the receipt  I'm sure it's over a year old now so not much I can do about it though  it wasn't a cheap one either, it's one of them fancy shmancy steam generator ones (DH does all the ironing and there's usually lots of it so this kind works well for us).
Really annoyed as the one we had before this one lasted years and was given to us second hand by a family member, I expected this one to last a bit longer than a year and a half especially when they're nearly a hundred quid to buy
One of the kids tablets has gone up the swanny too. Luckily it's an older one the little ones play with, a factory reset hasn't done the trick though so I think that one needs retiring :(

Sat and did my first run of Christmas present wrapping last night and it looks like I still need to buy a few more bits and bobs for various family members. Got 75% of presents sorted now though so very happy with that and wrapped the kids presents that are already here to hide them from prying eyes :D

Better sit and do a finance check, I can see today becoming an expensive day :(

It's never one thing it goes wrong is it

I think for something to only last a year that cost a great deal of money is very frustrating xx

    Hey Abba :)
Well the iron suddenly came back to life, but not sure how long it's going to last :(
I agree it should definitely last much longer, just gutted I can't find the receipt. I'd use the sale of goods act against the shop if I could :D

They say 'buy cheap, buy twice' but when you pay out decent money for something and it still breaks after a short period of time, it's so frustrating

You are doing well with Christmas prezzies though. :D

Hey DB :) I'm dead chuffed with how my shopping is coming along :D
DH has finally started his shopping, I've asked for a fitbit for Christmas and he has enough vouchers to get me one for free :D :j
Christmas spending isn't going too badly, I'm really hoping we don't carry any additional debt through into the new year as the credit card that has a BT ending in March is gonna be a killer if it's not cleared off soon :(

Abba I can't remember how I paid for it or when exactly we bought it (I can just remember the shop) so scouring all the statements has drawn a blank so far :(
I'm far from giving up yet though :D I shall keep sleuthing!

    Good morning diary :)
Had another driving lesson today, I was worrying myself stupid this morning that I'm never going to be able to do it all.
Lesson went pretty well and I've calmed down a bit now :) funny thing is it's not even my first lesson, I've already had a handful so it shouldn't come as such a shock to me :rotfl:
Need to sit down with a pen and paper and work out all the outstanding bills for the rest of the year now. Hoping to go into January in a good position financially :)

    Good morning diary :)
Sneaking in for a quick minute while everyone else is in bed :)
Hoping to have a shopping day today, need to sort out the last remaining pressies for the kids.
Why do their wish lists for Santa seem to change every week? I'm sure there wasn't a light sabre on one of them last week!
