Good morning diary
Payday at the end of the month and it should be a nice one as I've been working my backside off clocking up the overtime
Need to pay off the £800 odd credit card bill
Would be nice to get below £6,000 at the end of the month but can't see that happeningHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

an extra bit of OT is nice and when you have it set aside for purpose, you will see the fruits of your labour.

I am so annoyed with myself
We managed to spend £854 on the credit card in October  I've just had a look at the statement and it's amazing how easily it all adds up
£150 is in bills (cashback credit card, might as well get some perks from paying the leccy) and the rest is on various shopping.
I need to work out a breakdown of exactly what we spent as there's no way we spent nearly £700 on food, fuel and clothing.
I need to knuckle down and get cracking this whip
£854 CC 1 (balance is now paid off every month so no interest is accrued)
£2,700 CC 2 0% BT until March 2016
£3,200 CC 3 0% BT until January 2017
Total outstanding £6,754 gutted we're not at 90%, need a good month of debt busting this month.
Onwards and upwards :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000

Morning diary
Worked all night last night so was hoping to sleep today but one of the kids is sick and off schoolworking 6 day weeks at the moment so a bit tired at the moment
Debt busting going OK at the moment, worked out where some of the credit card bill has come from, Christmas presents seem to have taken up a fair chunk of it
Got the money to clear the bill for the month so no interest accrued again :j and have got Christmas present spending under control, I think so far we have about £500 in savings, gift vouchers and loyalty rewards to spend on the big stuff we still haven't bought :j
I do love a bargain :j:T:jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hey Abba
Glad to hear someone is prepared :T
I'm having to resort to wrapping some of them already because little prying eyes seem determined to sniff out their presents early :rotfl:
Only problem now is when I see the extent of what I've bought I think I may have spoilt the kids a little too much
Cheap things always seem such a bargain when you buy them, I may have bought a few too many :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

All this talk of Christmas presents is making me feel a tad under-ready although I've only got one payment left to go into my Xmas savings to reach my target and then I can start shopping. Hello diary
Just doing a quick finance check for the middle of the month and we're on check for having over 90% debt paid by the end of the month :j
Still need to keep the spending in check but I'm glad to say I've now bought one big present each of the kids so that's Christmas virtually out of the way :j
Got a stash of bottles of plonk and tubs of choccys for any family members (and school teachers) I'm meant to be buying a pressie forso that's most of my shopping now done and dusted
Looking to the new year now, need to get that pesky credit card paid off before the 0% BT finishes in March.
The main current credit card is being closed before Christmas now because the loyalty offer I had with it has now come to an end. No use keeping it, will have to look for a new oneHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
