It's not your engagement ring, it's hers.

If she broke off the wedding, it's mine again.

Anyway doesn't matter just !!!!ed up even more I guess. Should've just left her alone. She's complained to the police etc, and I have to go thru court.

    How life changes.

Your ex has your kids in her care and is currently blocking your access to them. You choose this of all times to quibble over getting back a bit of gold. To the degree that she has now made a complaint to the police about you. Sorry but come on, you must have rocks in your head!!!

When you say you now have to go through court, is this in relation to access to your kids, or for something you have just done? In all seriousness you have to get a grip and tread very carefully or you risk losing so much.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

No, it was a gift and legally it's hers.

I call Troll. Two threads both the same and drip feeding stories that chop and change with the weather.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Very dangerous to call troll if true and talking about ending it , would you not think links, phone lines, help would be a better choice?
