Who said to sleep seperately? Did neither of you do nice things for each other?

You both seemed to have filled your time with being mean to each other and trying to score points rather than taking a deep breath, a step back and realizing each others strengths and good points and enjoying them and each others company.

Think you've hit the nail on the head. It was a very messy situation

Honestly the sleeping seperate started when I fell I'll, but seems to have continued

Glad to see you seem to reason better today , good luck
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Well I'm beginning to see that she was stringing me along.

I know she doesn't want to raise the kids on her own. But if she got in touch I don't think I'd just jump back into it either.

I'm not 2nd best to anyone. I'm either 1st or not at all.

That is a huge step forward in your thinking processes, from where you were at just a few days ago. You came across then as almost being willing to sell your heart and soul, simply for a chance to be with her again. In relationships you need to be regarded and treated as someone's equal. Not to feel as if you are competing for, or questioning whether you are worthy of, their love and time. Well done OP :T
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

You most certainly should be 1st, when in a relationship it is 50/50 you should both care deeply about each other's happiness and have respect, honesty, loyalty, trust, communication, companionship, relationships are hard work, give and take but they should also be filled with a lot of happiness, laughs, good times, memories, all the positives as well.

Have you reported it? Do you have enemies? Has there been some other tyres slashed in your street?

Ye I reported it but nothing they can do. Well only my ex ( unlikely ) or the person she was/is seeing ( more likely ).
No other tyres were slashed and this one was brand new, only changed two weeks ago
