I'll take the letters down shortly - having them up for an hour or so won't do much harm0

And there are things to resolve. The car means a lot to me and I'd like to keep it.
Then its value has just gone up!0 -
The car is in her name so tell her she's welcome to come and get it. As for the furniture you're only prepared to pay her for the second-hand value of it if she doesn't want to come and collect that as well.0

For the car it's a bit more complicated you say the car finance is in her name does that mean the car is also registered in her name only or is your name also registered on it? If it's all in her name then really she owns the car and either sell it to someone else, keep it herself or offer to sell it to you. If it is in her name only you won't have much bargaining power.
Sorry just saw your post it's registered in your name, I missed a few update while I was writing my response. Is she still paying the finance on it? If so I think you should really be paying whatever is required for her to get out of the agreement whether that is market price for the car or not.Starting Mortgage Balance: £264,800 (8th Aug 2014)
Current Mortgage Balance: £269,750 (18th April 2016)0 -
Her request for payment for certain items and your response that you would pay some, but not all of it, were not unreasonable.
Unfortunately you both come across like a pair of t i t s in the way that you have chosen to communicate on the issue.
Perhaps if you both lose the attitude, and communicate like adults, you might be able to resolve this. As it is, right now she is probably showing your reply to her friends and busy conjuring up a response specifically designed to !!!! you off.0 -

There's only a few months left on the finance. I only want to be fair - I have no desire to con her. When she moved out I gave her some little, but quite expensive, bits and bobs to make her flatshare nicer for her!0 -
And just to point out that I wanted to come up with a fair monthly payment and was trying to do it informally by text or phone. I didn't start with the legalese nonsense0

To tie this up, I was just sitting in my boss' office when his phone rings. Don't even know how she got his number.
Barking mad.0 -
If so, this borders on harassment.
Has your boss told her where to go?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Barking mad.
What does it have to do with your boss? Why would she do that? Doesn't make sense0
