Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

hmmm, stuck the app on my iPhone wasn't that impressed, when you click on the Flight delayed it says complain to the 'National Enforcement Body'. Doesn't even say who the NEB is? and even if you did know, that's not the advice I would give.

There's some excellent info on the Monarch Complaints FB page https://www.facebook.com/MonarchComplaints/posts/294961353998588

loads, of tips and things like taking photos of the info displays, things that you wouldn't necessarily think of doing at the time.Worth reading through.....

  • After having read Martin Lewis' tips on claiming for flight delays, I downloaded and completed the application form at the Virgin Atlantic website. Three months later I received a cheque in the sum of £445.43 (equivalent of €600 based on an exchange rate). Thank you—yet again.

I submitted a claim letter to thomson regarding a delayed flight in 2010. I had all the dates, times flight numbers etc. and delay info., I have received a letter to say that without a booking reference number or boarding pass they will not proceed with my claim. As this was 5 years ago it is unlikely that anyone would keep a boarding pass that long! Anyone else had this problem? What can I do next? Surely thomson can check on their records with all the info I have given them? Any useful info appreciated.

You might still have the booking reference email. Search mail x

    Hi folks,

Hope someone can help me, I'm in the middle of writing my first letter asking for compensation for a Flybe flight that was cancelled. I'm just a little confused as to how much compensation to demand.

The flight in question was from Manchester to The Isle Of Man.(approx 176km)
Initially it was delayed just moments before we were due to board, then around 90 minutes later they announced the flight was cancelled altogether!

No other flights were available that day from Manchester, we were then told that a bus to Liverpool
was being arranged, but still no ideas on flights or times. As our stay in the Isle of Man was short and the fact we had two young children with us, we couldn't gamble with the vague alternative travel options and decided not to fly. So we went home having spent most of our day in the airport with two very disappointed kids,
and we wasn't to happy either!

I look forward to your replies.

<1,500km = €250 (the amount is fixed by distance, the exception would be if you were given an alternative flight that got you to your destination within 2 hours of the original flight in which case the compensation would be halved)
